We really enjoyed our stay. Frank, the man at the front desk that checked us in was very friendly and gave us an upgrade. They were renovating the hotel and our room was nicely updated. Great location to downtown St Joe. Love that it is dog friendly so our girl could explore with us!

Nice location room could have been cleaner

The room was ok for the most part. I was little disappointed that the floors didn’t seem very clean cause there was still sand on the floor from the beach. Furthermore, some ants were also on the floor. The bathroom was small and seemed very crammed. However, the shower was nice along with the bed. Breakfast was not very good at all. I have ate at much better hotels. Maybe try making scrambled eggs?? The best part about this place is the location for the St.Joseph beach area.

Positives: - close to Silver Beach, easily within walking distance as well as the other shops and restaurants in the area. - we were able to check into our room earlier than 3 pm. - ice machine always had a surplus of ice, and thankful one (of the two in the hotel) was on our floor. Negatives: - pool was out of service and most definitely not going to be up and running anytime in the near future. - limited breakfast items, breakfast not as advertised - no waffles or waffle maker; when items ran out, had to get assistance to get refilled - no coffee on our third morning of stay - lobby bathrooms were disgusting; one toilet in the women's was out of order all 3 days of our stay; 'water' was on the floor in the men's - parking was overcrowded in hotel parking lot Overall, we had a great time in St. Joseph but will definitely not stay at Silver Beach Hotel again, nor would recommend.

We liked that it was close to the Beach. Over all the rooms were clean. The property was a bit run down and could use some updating. There was not enough parking, and you had to be sure to get there early to get a parking space. The breakfast was disappointing. The creamer for the coffee was out dated and bad. And on our floor it smelled like an Indian restaurant.

I’ve stayed in worse

Location was great. Staff was nice. Parking was adequate. Keurig in the room with Green Mtn coffee. Rooms were clean but Beds were uncomfortable. Tossed and turned all night. We had a front facing room and could hear traffic noise all night. Toilet leaked into the bathroom floor and the bathroom sink did not drain in a timely manner. Carpets in hallways could be replaced. LOCATION for the win.

Wish the room included and microwave and that the television was more modernized (very fuzzy analog cable TV with no streaming options), otherwise everything else was up to expectations! Room was clean, accessability to food, stores, and the beach was impeccable. Breakfast was lackluster on options compared to expectations.

Rooms were in ok shape but the common areas, hallways etc were in bad condition. No pool or bar. Pool room looks like a junkyard. Bad breakfast quality is offered in the morning. Better off getting food elsewhere.
