We were in town for a baseball tournament and had booked at another property. It was dreadful and in a last minute switch booked here at the La Quinta. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was quite large in comparison to other double rooms. The sofa and additional room were wonderful. The rooms were very clean. The hotel was quiet and was an overall great stay.

Newer hotel on the edge of Bloomington downtown, that is in a quiet area. King room was nice size with additional sofa seating and a separate desk chair. Clean, large bathroom with walk in shower. Have stayed at competitors hotel down the road, would come back to this one due to no highway noise and updates.

We had a great stay! The only negative was that I chose this hotel specifically for the indoor pool, and when my 4 year old and I tried it out on our first stay of 4 nights, it was freezing cold! We couldn’t handle it for more than about 15 minutes. Luckily, we had enough else planned to do on our trip (and visited a local YMCA indoor pool), that it didn’t ruin the whole stay. Other than that, the staff were friendly, it was quiet, and convenient to many stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay again (we just won’t plan on swimming unless, maybe, it’s more in the middle of summer, rather than the beginning.

What I like about this location, it was close to restaurants and shopping areas. Front desk workers were very friendly and nice. Housekeeping staff were nice also. What I really dislike was the people above our room were making lots of stomping when they’ve walk around the room and the people next door were also inconsiderate for others they had the television on all night very loud. I was also annoyed with my bathroom every time I took a shower water went all over the floor I had to keep throwing towels on floor to prevent myself or my husband from falling.

It looks like newer building and pretty clean. Only thing I didn't like was i have to go to first floor to get some ice from ice machine. There is no other ice machine except the one on the first floor.
