We love this place. The bungalow on the beach exceeded our expectations. Very friendly staff. Fantastic beach for snorkeling and swimming. Grocery store walking distance. Beautiful ocean views, fantastic snorkeling around the coral gardens. We saw many different types of tropical fish! The check in process was super easy & efficient. Everyone (staff & locals) were so kind & friendly. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Very nice hotel with good breakfast, clean, in front of the beach, near to Matira beach. The only thing we didn’t like was the transportation from and to the airport. The bus is old, with no air conditioning, and expensive.

From our upper floor room we had a beautiful view over the water to the reef. The room had a good sized balcony which we enjoyed every day. Even able to sit outside when it was raining as well protected. The bed was very comfortable and with housekeeping each day was appreciated. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the tours we booked through the hotel were wonderful. Breakfast had a good selection of choices. We enjoyed dining at their restaurant by the water. Happy hour was good value too!

This is one of our top locations ever! We stayed 3 nights in a premier over the water bungalow and the rest in a beachside bungalow. Both were incredible! The MaiTai was a delightful place to stay and beyond our expectations. It was very tidy and very clean, with gardens and nice seating. Situated in a lovely part of the island. The beach was great and had lots of conveniences. The restaurant on the waterfront was an added bonus. The rooms were cool and comfortable. Very quiet and nice views. The staff were all above and beyond. I would love to return to the MaiTai.

Amazing stay! Comfortable and spacious room, private beach, fast access to boat rental with awesome nearby sites (coral garden, eagle ray, white sand beach). And didn’t have to request for late checkout since they offer free shower, so could take advantage of site on departure day! Only inconvenience was that the door to the room had a seam up top (room 26) so seems like it let some mosquitos in :(

Exellcent service, loved the overwater bungalow

We highly recommend Mai Tai Bora Bora for (premium) overwater bungalow experience. We jumped off our deck and went right to snorkeling. You can also rent paddleboards and motor boats. Water was so clear and beautiful views! The staff was so helpful and rooms were clean and had everything we needed like fridge. Two restaurants on site including a beach view one. The staff at Mai Tai was even able to recover our lost cell phone from the bus driver that took us to the airport boat dock. It was a work of magic and truly personalized service. Also the hotel is close to other restaurants, beaches and markets. Bora Bora Dive will also pick you up as its only a few minute drive.
