Appartment for those who like nature by it's finest! Souronded by mountains in a small peacfull village Strmec offers you a starting point for every outdoor activity you want and more! ... Holidays with the capital H :)

The appartment has 2 floors. On the upper flor you have 2 bedrooms ( one with 3 single beds and one with a single bed and a double bed), a bathroom and a toilet. On the ground floor there is a spacious hall, a kitchen, a bright living room and a separate toilet.
The whole house has been arranged in the way that reflects local style, to give you an experience as genuine as possible, to merge with the traditional way of living in these parts. The original structure was kept intact, but all the furniture and stuff has been handmade to fitt and create a nice cosy feeling.
It's completly equiped ( kitchenware, bedsheets, towels etc..) so you don't need to wory about bringing too much luggage with you. A parking space and garage are also included in the price.

I as the owner am always present during your stay, but only if you need something. Otherwise you get your own keys, and enjoy the stay without every interference... as long as you want some :)

Waw... is the first thing every visitor that comes to village Strmec manages to say. And it is not hard to see why: literally surrounded by some of the most astonishing mountains (Mangrt, Rombon, Jalovec...) which appear so vivid and so close that you could almost touch and feel their glory, immersed in a profound and invigorating peace and tranquillity, Strmec is like a little, a bit shy pearl cocooned in the protective and loving embrace of the nature.
Our apartment is for those who want to be woken up by a gentle touch of the morning sun instead of some stupid alarm clock, who like to add a piece of a breathtakeing view to their breakfast... Suitable for families, for small and big children, for adrenaline junkies, for lonely passengers, for seekers... for you!
The Place
As mentioned before, village Strmec is beautifull. It's a perfect starting point for every imaginable outdoor activity. Some of the best mountains of Julian Alps are only a few km away. Here are just a few of them: Mangart, Jalovec, Rombon, Montasio, Jof Fuart... Then there is the river Soča, one of the most beatufull river in the world. It offers infinite variety of water sports: kayaking, rafting, hydrospeed... There are a lot of sport agencies in Bovec( 13km from the appartment) which will suit every level and every wish you have. The region here is also known as a cycling paradise; there are infinite tracks for everycyclist. From the highest road in Slovenija up to the Mangart saddle, to nice cruising tracky down the valley. Don't worry if you don't have your own bike here, bike renting agencies will suit your needs. During the winter season there are skiing resorts you can choose from: Tarvisio- Monte Lussari, Nassfeld, Kranjska Gora, Vogel... all that in just 30 min away from here.
To sum up: if you are looking for a holiday place where you can leave the stress and everyday worries behind, look no further. Nature here helps you forget all of that. It's invigorating, benevolent and relaxing. It's beauty is almost intoxicating, you just have to listen to it. If you decide to pay me a visit, i'll try to do everything i can, to make you feel as good as possible.
As mentioned before Strmec is a bit away from the shopping centers and other things you might need. 15 Km away from the nearest town, no big deal, but please consider that before booking.

Since Strmec is quite a remote place and public transport isn't really that good, transport to and from the house can be arranged. I can come and pick you up in nearest places like Bovec, Kranjska Gora, Tarvisio and even Jesenice. ( for a small price for the petrol;) ) Please let me know that when making a reservation, so i can arrange myself.

The whole village of Strmec lies near the main road. During the summer, especially the weekends the traffic is intense. Yes it gets noisy and annoying i admit, but there's little i can do about it! I am doing all i can to slow the traffic down, it's a long process so i kindly ask for your patience.
By your request breakfast can also be available ( by request for 5 eur / person).
