The Ciäsa Maira is a 2-family house and is located in the centre of the village near the sports shop. There is a small grocery shop on the opposite side of the street.

In addition, the pony lift and the Aela panoramic ski lift, on the doorstep of the village, still have a rustic character. Individualists like this peace and quiet. Parents with their children use it to practise their turns or celebrate their return to the slopes after a long break. But it's not just winter sports enthusiasts who feel at home in this natural setting.
The fascinating interplay of light and shadow has also attracted world-famous artists, such as Giovanni Segantini, who chose Maloja as his last home and subject for many nature paintings, or Giovanni Giacometti, the father of Alberto Giacometti.
