Would stay again!

This place was wonderful! Perfect location, spacious and modern. You would not know the building was 100 years old! Kitchen was perfect for making breakfast in the am. Comfy bed. Very clean. Had a minor issue with the shower drain, and it was fixed the same day while I was out. Only negative is that you can hear the traffic because it is between busy streets, but it did not keep me from sleeping, and the whole area is very busy (so it's probably the same everywhere).

Exellent, very impressed. Extremely friendly staff: 1. Explained how to best go to different places, 2. I was talking to the staff and tipped and lost $20 bill, then the staff member found me and gave $20 i lost. $20 is not much anymore but the Principle is important. The location is excellent, no need to take trams or metro. The kitchen was very nice, the bathrooms were clean.

Great accommodation and good value

I loved the apartment, it was very nice and I'd return again. It was spacious, clean, modern and had everything I needed. Things to improve: maybe just breakfast, I'd include higher quality yoghurt and juice or at least possibility to pay for higher quality breakfast.

Nicely laid out and well-equipped studio suite in an excellent location, with a balcony and lots of light. Did not like the extra-high eating counter, which was also the only work surface, but I would gladly stay there again.

My stay was short but wonderful. I was arriving late at night so I opted for the airport transfer and it was worth it! Then upon arrival I was given a warm reception and brief explanation of everything. My room was already the perfect temperature and was just as nice as the pictures. From check in to check out it was really lovely!

Could have been difficult to find though they had sent a good description. My taxi driver knew it so I had no problem. As its name suggests the hotel is a conversion from residences/apartments. That means no bar or restaurant and a very limited reception space. More than made up for by a most helpful, delightful lady receptionist. Your breakfast is delivered to your door in a basket. Loved the high ceilings and superbly designed staircase indicating the property must once have belonged to a wealthy family. Room and bathroom completely modernised in simple attractive Hungarian style. Excellent tv, easy to operate. Comfortable bed warm bedding, very good shower with hot water. Kitchen area well stocked for those wishing to economise by self catering. Was unable to operate coffee machine, not sure if it was working. Plenty of other drinks available. On returning to Budapest Karoly Residences would be my first choice.
