Podere Fulignano' is a beautiful old farm house complex which has been lovingly restored. It is situated in the middle of a 300 year old olive grove.
Casa Lola is situated next to the old pizza oven and got a lovely terrace overgrown with wistetia. It offers beautiful garden views and over the the lovely Tuscan Countryside.
All three charming houses, which are mostly covered by wines and wisteria, are full of character with excellent quality furnishings and up-market fittings. Beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and hand painted tiles from Siena in the bathrooms are found throughout them.
'Podere Fulignano' is perfect for both big groups and families who love to spent some time together but also like to enjoy their privacy as well. It is set in 50 acres of ground and the three independent cottages are far enough apart to guarantee peaceful privacy if needed.
Campagnatico, the next village is only three minutes by car from the farm.
It is the ideal place for anybody wishing to get away from it all and to relax and experience real Tuscan life without having to use the car every day. The huge pool, beautiful garden and great views make it a perfect stay for everyone.
Golf Information: 3 different 18 holes Golf Courses located within 50 km from the property, open all the year: “Golf Club Toscana - Il Pelagone” (35 km), “Golf Club Punta Ala” (about 35 km), Golf Club Monte Argentario (50 km)
'Il Pelagone' is 18 holes, 5.920m, and PAR 71-SSS 70, with many facilities: training field, putting green, pro shop, hire cart, golf bags and trolley, bar, swimming-pool, volley, baby-sitting. During winter is closed on Wednesday.
'Punta Ala', opened in 1964, is 18 holes, 6.168m, PAR 72-SSS 72, with driving range, golf-cars, pro-shop, golf trolley, bar, restaurant and spectacular views all around. Open everyday.
'Monte Argentario' is a spectacular Course on the half island of Monte Argentario between the pitoresque villages of Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano.
Nearest Airports to the property: Florence Airport - 130 km - approx. 1,5 hours car drive or 2 hours by bus.
Pisa Airport - 170 km - approx. 1,5 hours car drive or 2 hours by train.
Rome Airport - 180 km - approx. 2 hours car drive or 2,5 hours by train.

Entspannung pur

Wir haben in der Casa Lola gewohnt - ein ganz süßes altes Steinhaus, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet, falls man selbst kochen möchte, anstatt in das hervorragende Restaurant im Dorf (5 Minuten mit dem Auto) zu fahren. Die ganze Anlage ist unglaublich liebevoll und hochwertig gestaltet und wir haben uns aufgrund der herzlichen Atmosphäre dort sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, jederzeit ansprechbar und haben uns tolle Tipps für die Umgebung und Restaurants gegeben. Wir haben unsere Zeit allerdings am liebsten an dem riesigen (!) Pool verbracht und dort unter den großen Sonnenschirmen mit Blick auf den wunderschönen Olivenhain entspannt. Besser geht es nicht!

Perfect holidays

Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub in einer fantastischen Umgebung. Der riesige Pool lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch der Grillplatz mit dem schönen Pizzahaus ist einfach nur traumhaft schön. Perfekt um die toskanischen Sonnenuntergänge zu genießen. Die Grillen bzw. Zikaden geben dazu ein tolles Konzert. Die Casa Lola hat alles was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Man taucht in eine wunderschöne Landschaft mit sehr freundlichen Menschen ein. Luciano und Daniela sind absolut herzlich und immer um das Wohl der Gäste bedacht. So könnte wir noch weiter schwärmen...

what a great pool

So much enjoyed the beauty of this place. owners take great care of every detail. The biggest pool we ever had, 35 meters of blue water hiding in an amazing Tuscan Valley. The nearby village offered fantastic food, the best Bistecca Fiorentina and great pasta. We went to the famous Tarot garden, just an hour away. The kids also loved the art of Niki de St. Phalle The nearby kite surfing beach was already open, we will come back for that when the water is warmer, thanks Mel for the great days,

Peaceful location, beautiful views, perfect service

The villa is located in the middle of a huge olive yard and surrounded by a very well maintained garden. A beautiful terrace with a nice view. Everything in the house worked very well and it was spotless clean. Because of our late arrival we asked for a little starter package for the next morning and Daniela -the lovely housekeeping lady - prepared that for us. Very convenient and very much appreciated. The pool was not open yet but it is just huge and we decided to come back next summer. A perfect place for excursions if you want to explore the not yet crowded Maremma.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen erholsamen Urlaub. Mel und Thomas sind total nette Vermieter. Sie haben uns gute Tips gegeben und waren immer hilfsbereit. Uns hat der Urlaub sehr gefallen. Der Pool ist ein Traum und die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen. Um vom Alltag Abstand zu gewinnen, ist dass der richtige Ort mit zwei ganz lieben Vermietern.

Einfach traumhaft

Wir haben die letzten Jahre unseren Urlaub immer in der Toskana verbracht, aber es war noch nie so perfekt wie dieses Jahr. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet. Der Pool ist einfach traumhaft. Und die Umgebung unglaublich schön. Wir haben die Zeit wahnsinnig genossen und freuen uns schon auf nächstes Jahr.

Lovely and very peaceful

A fantastic relaxful place to hideaway from everything. You need a car to get there and to buy groceries. When you are there the time stand still and you can really enjoy whats free in life - the enjoyment of each other.

Pristine inside and out!

If you are truly looking for seclusion from the hustle and bustle of life, this is the place for you. Located down a steep, winding gravel driveway you will find incredible views and TOTAL privacy. No television or electronics to distract you. Huge pool down a small hill from house. Attention paid to details with comfortable outdoor seating, perfectly maintained gardens. Inside well equipped kitchen, plenty of hot water. The outdoor pizza oven is spectacular. The closest market is small and no english is spoken. 15 minutes away though is a well stocked coop. This home is isolated so make sure that is for you.

Die liebevoll eingerichteten Häuschen und der große Pool laden zu schönen und entspannten Urlaubstagen in angenehmer Atmosphäre ein. Obwohl das Anwesen abgelegen ist, erreicht man in wenigen Minuten das Dorf Campagnatico mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Für Ausflüge gibt es viele reizvolle Ziele im Hinterland und zum Meer ist es auch nicht weit.

Sonniger, relaxter Urlaub! Klasse!

Wir (2 Erw und 3 Kids) haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Da wir bereits vorher in Italien unterwegs waren und uns einige Städte angeschaut hatten, standen wir schon morgens auf der Matte! Aber Daniela (die gute Fee) nahm es mit Humor! Trotzdem wir sie mitten im "Putzakt" überraschten, durften wir bereits "halb einziehen" und schon einmal den Kühlschrank und das bereits gereinigte Schlafzimmer in Beschlag nehmen! Bis alles zum "finalen" Einzug fertig war, sind wir in den wunderbaren Pool gehüpft! Herrlich! Dieser Pool ist so groß, dass man auch ein tägliches Sportprogramm durchführen kann (wir, als eingefleischte Schwimmvereinheinis waren höchst erfreut!!!). Das Haus ist für uns vielleicht etwas klein gewesen, aber ein Kind hatte es sich nachts auf dem Sofa gemütlich gemacht (wurde tagsüber sowieso nicht gebraucht, weil sich alles draußen abspielte). Insgesamt war es ein niedliches, gut ausgestattetes Haus (leider haben wir 2 Teller fallen lassen- Entschuldigung...). Abends haben wir es uns auf der Terrasse gemütlich gemacht und Doppelkopf gespielt. Dank Mückenspray war das kein Problem. Auch den supertollen Pizzaofen haben wir in Anspruch genommen und Pizza, Brot und Brötchen gebacken! Campagnatico ist ein süßer, enggassiger Ort, und besitzt ein leckeres Restaurante. Grosseto ist gut erreichbar und auch die Strandbesuche waren eine Wohltat! Wir können dieses Domizil sehr empfehlen. Vielleicht kommen wir sogar eines Tages wieder...

Wunderschöne, toskanische Wohlfühloase

SÜDTOSKANA, Casa Lola: 10.09. - 21.09.16. Hier möchte man nicht mehr weg! Entspannung pur. Durch den duftenden Zypressenhain wandeln. Erfrischende Leichtigkeit im riesengroßen Pool genießen. Sich in der Hängematte schlummernd die Sonne auf den Pelz scheinen lassen. Feigen für den Kuchen sammeln. In der perfekt ausgestatteten Küche backen, brutzeln, braten. Zwischendurch sich immer wieder an der schönen Landschaft durchs Küchenfenster erfreuen. Verschiedene Terrassen bzw. Essplätze stehen zu allen Himmelsrichtungen zur Auswahl. Da kamen auch mal die netten Nachbarn aus der Casa Luca vorbei. Man plaudert angeregt über Gemeinsamkeiten und Entdeckungen: Kontakte können glücklich machen. Auch bei Regentagen war der Aufenthalt in der sehr gemütlichen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Casa Lola mit ihrem starken WLAN äußerst angenehm. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt und würden gern einmal wiederkommen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Mel und ihren Mann, die dieses Paradies in jahrzehntelanger Arbeit geschaffen haben. Highly recommended!

Traumurlaub

Es war ein echter Traumurlaub: wir wurden sehr herzlich von Daniela begrüßt und haben dann das gemütliche und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Casa Lola bezogen. Das Haus ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Kinder haben den Pool, die Trampoline und die Katzen erobert. Wir haben uns alle vier rundum erholt, weil für alle Bedürfnisse gesorgt war. Aus der Ferne stand Mel mit Rat und Tat zur Seite - es hätte nicht besser sein können! Mit Luciano konnte ich zwischendurch mein Italienisch ausprobieren. Der einzige Lärm in den zwei Wochen kam wohl von unseren Kindern beim Spielen! :-) So eine herrliche Ruhe! Die Umgebung haben wir gar nicht so intensiv erkundet, weil es "zu Hause" einfach sooo schön war! Aber Ausflüge werden einem leicht gemacht, weil das Haus gut gelegen ist und man schnell von A nach B kommt. Vielen Dank für wirklich wunderschöne zwei Wochen! Unsere Kinder haben schon gefragt, wann wir das nächste Mal kommen - hoffentlich bald! Sabine & Max

Great atmosphere, beautiful location and well equipped cottage. Pool stunning. Luciano and Daniela very welcoming and helpful. Campagnatico good village with all you need and nice restaurant.

Living 'la dolce vita' in an adorable surrounding

The casa lola, a charming stone house for 4 to 5 guests, lies within an old olive grove near the picturesque small village of Campagnatico. The surrounding is quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed the view of a picture-perfect tuscanian landscape from our grounds. There are two other houses for travellers - anone belongs to the owners -, so the place was not 'packed' at all with people, you get loads of space for yourself (which was an important factor for us). The facilities in casa lola are impeccable, there's everything you need for a good living (well set up kitchen, very clean and neat in- and outside the house etc.), and even more: Around the corner of the house you get your own pizza-oven and barbecue-grill (runs with gas) besides a lovely terrace where you want to spend hours of cooking and 'mangiare' and fine red wine while enjoying tuscanian sunsets. Then, there's the large pool area, few yards below the housing complex, which makes it hard for you going out for a daytrip. You just don't want to leave there. ;) Of course - the price for enjoying peaceful solitude - you need to be motorized for doing grocery shopping, sight seeing. Siena is a one hour ride from Campagnatico e.g. Food is best when buying at the local market or super markets in Grosseto, half an hour by car. The owners and staff (special thanks to Daniela and Luciano!) were helpful and caring. There is also a small guide book at the house for activities in Grosseto and Campagnatico, with restaurant and shopping suggestions. We absolutely recommend the Casa Lola and we hope we have the chance to come back soon!
