This peaceful Lakehouse cabin sits on a private lake in a beautifully secluded setting, perfect for couples, or anyone looking to unwind in nature. Though tucked away, it’s still just a short drive from local restaurants and shopping.

Guests love the walking trail that circles the lake, the lower-level firepit right by the water, and the chance to enjoy catch-and-release fishing. Wildlife is abundant here, adding to the sense of escape at this hidden getaway in south-central Kentucky.

The Lakehouse is a hidden gem on our private lake. This home is located halfway between the historic towns of Greensburg and Columbia, KY and it`s only 2 miles from The Barn at Cedar Grove, wedding venue.

Brief fishing trip

We enjoyed our return stay. Everything was as it should be. There was even a washer/dryer this time. The lake is well maintained and the fishing was good. The only suggestion would be that the bathroom does need some updating. We will return in the future.

Incredibly Quaint and Charming Cabin !

Gayle is a lovely lady and will make sure you have everything you need. The lake is full of fish and the view is spectacular! Not a negative but could use a few more kitchen utensils / items in stock. We will absolutely be back !

We really enjoyed the lake house. We spent 4 days there and it was the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in. The cabin did have a mild musty odor but it was not bad. The cabin is right on a private lake and is somewhat secluded. The fishing was great and it was very peaceful. We met Gayle the property owner who was extremely nice and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. If you want peace and quiet with a beautiful water view then this is the cabin for you. The lake is catch and release fishing and we caught bluegill, sunfish, crappie, and largemouth bass. The one downfall is the cabin does not have a washer and dryer so pack plenty of clothes if you are staying for a while. We would definitely go back and stay again.

Peace and Serenity

I feel like Gayle is a part of my family now. She is just amazing and her cabin is as well. She left the best candy in the refrigerator that I have ever eaten. The cabin was clean and had everything that we needed for the weekend. We caught a ton of fish, watched deer across the lake early in the morning and late in the evenings, and just enjoyed the overall surroundings. I would definitely recommend this place. In fact, I already have. Several of my friends saw pictures on Facebook and have questioned this place. It was an amazing weekend and I am so grateful to have found this place and had the opportunity to meet and chat with Gayle. We will be back!!
