Casa Capannina on upouusi 3 makuuhuoneen 3 kylpyhuoneen kiinteistö, joka sijaitsee 1 tunti 15 minuuttia. Luccan pohjoispuolella Garfagnana-vuoriston keskellä, ja sieltä on näkymät laaksoon ja vuorille.

Täysin yksityinen, siellä on suuri puutarha ja oma uima-allas (12 m x 6 m), ja talossa on kolme ulkoruokailutilaa - suuri katettu terassi, valtava avoin terassi, huvimaja ja kaksi grilliä. Vuonna 2023 altaalle rakennetaan myös uusi pergola lisärentoutumista varten.

Sisätiloissa suuressa olohuoneessa on holvikattopalkit, takka ja joitain paljaita muurauksia, tv, DVD- ja CD-soitin ja mukavat istuimet.
Keittiössä on perinteinen tunnelma, jälleen kattopalkit, mutta itse keittiö on moderni ja hyvin varustettu pesukoneella, astianpesukoneella jne.

Maantaso:
Sisäänkäynti taloon suuren avoimen terassin kautta, tilavaan olohuoneeseen, jossa on takka ja holvikattopalkit.
Olohuoneesta pääsee myös suurelle katetulle terassille, joka sopii täydellisesti leutoisiin kesäiloihin, mutta tarjoaa myös varjoa keskipäivän ruokailuun. Terassilta on näkymät puutarhaan ja uima-altaalle, ja sieltä on näkymät laajalle, upealle maaseudulle.

Hieman alueesta:
Casa Capanninasta voit kävellä turvallisesti paikalliseen Camporgianon kylään ja nauttia aamukahvin, lounaan tai illallisen, pizzan jne. ja kun sinulla on auto, on myös supermarket.

Laakson toisella puolella on upealla paikalla sijaitseva Verrucolen linnoitus, jonka näet puutarhasta kaukaa, sekä zip-wire-puisto, joka on hauskaa niin lapsille kuin aikuisillekin ja sopii täydellisesti viettämään päivää kutsuvassa varjossa! Täällä voit myös pitää piknikin ja grillata, jos haluat tehdä koko päivän retken.

Paikallinen Castelnuovon kaupunki, joka on kuuluisa torstaiaamun markkinoistaan, ja kaikkine palveluineen on vain 15 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. Tässä kaupungissa on baareja, ravintoloita ja jäätelöbaareja. Sesonkiaikana kaupunki todella herää eloon, ja siellä on usein iltaviihdettä ulkona.

Kaunis keskiaikainen Bargan kaupunki mukulakivikatuineen, kuuluisine ravintoloineen, katedraaliineen ja upeine näkymineen on 40 minuutin ajomatkan päässä, ja siellä järjestetään usein festivaaleja ja ilmaista elävää musiikkia.

Luccaa, jossa on täysin ehjä kehäseinä, ei kannata hukata, ja seinien ympäri pyöräileminen on niin päivämatkailijoiden kuin paikallistenkin suosikkiharrastus. Täällä voit viettää päivän vaelellen kiemurtelevia katuja, istuen avoimilla aukioilla, syömässä ulkoilmassa, kiipeämällä torneihin, osallistumalla konserttiin (tämä on Puccinin syntymäpaikka) tai vain ostoksilla!

Grotta del Vento, kuuluisat tippukiviluolat ovat myös perheen suosikki…

Tekemistä riittää, jos haluat, mutta alueen todellinen kauneus on maaseutu ja pienet tyypilliset kylät kaikkialla, missä käännyt... Rentoudu vain!

Great house with amazing views.

Beautiful setting with amazing views. A very peaceful week with visits from wild boar, deer, foxes and a couple of cats. The house is well equipped especially the kitchen. The covered outdoor room on the first floor was a great place to shelter from the hot sun or the thunderstorms (which were great to watch rolling in over the mountains). Lots of places to visit nearby (by car) but we mainly spent the time reading and cooling off in the lovely pool. Definitely recommend the house and local area.

wonderful house with big pool and logia with a great view

it was a wonderful stay. the house is well kept, the pool big and cleaned every day, big garden perfect for playing. very silent and the view into the mountains is magnificient. Perfect stay for people who love hiking and nature. Loretta and Renzo are perfect hosts. But you need your time to come to historic sites and cities.

Beautiful setting

Beautiful setting, great gardens and pool. The house is spacious and airy with lots of different areas to sit, eat and explore. The villa isn't really walking distance to the village and the unmade road can be difficult to drive especially after heavy rain. There needs to be some modifications to the house, it's all very traditional and brown and the gas hob takes forever to heat up (boiling a kettle is a 20 minute job). The beds are pretty uncomfortable but apart from that it was a lovely villa for us to stay in and the owners are lovely and speak a little English.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub mit allem was wir brauchten. Die Hausbesitzer sind unglaublich nett und haben uns bei allem geholfen -beim Arzt übersetzt und uns Dinge gebracht-es war wirklich herrlich. Das Anwesen ist ein Traum in der Abgelegenheit-hier ist man ganz ungestört und kann sich richtig erholen. Wir haben es sehr genossen-wer allerdings einen Ausgabgspunkt für viele Ausflüge und Unternehmungen sucht ist hier immer auf ein Auto angewiesen. Für uns der perfekte urlaub

Wonderful Villa In Stunning Setting

We enjoyed a wonderful two weeks with our two adult children at Villa Loretta. The setting is spectacular and Renzo and Loretta were lovely hosts, very discreet but friendly and helpful. Renzo keeps the beautiful pool and gardens immaculate with a daily early visit. There was a generous supply of towels and everything was homely, very clean and tidy. There were plenty of sun loungers with cushions and parasols and loads of shady spots around the garden and under the pergola. We made use of the various outside areas and the pizza oven but the elevated eating area was out favourite with light breezes and stunning views. We made regular trips into the welcoming village, a short but steep walk. It was very safe, our adult children would head into the village for morning coffee or in the evening to the pizzeria or sports bar. Prices in the village were exceptional compared to the tourist spots. We were able to visit Pisa, Lucca and Florence. A car is essential as the setting is rural but the views from the villa are breathtaking. We spent evenings watching fireflies in the garden, watching spectacular electric storms, enjoying eagles soaring and listening to cuckoos in the wood. All the family returned home rested and we would all love to use this wonderful property again.

Magnifique et très agréable

Loretta et son mari ont soigné l’agrément et le confort de cette belle maison au cœur de la Garfagnana. Les chambres restent fraîches car au rez-de-chaussée, chacune sa salle d’eau et ses toilettes. La cuisine est bien équipée et nous avons accès au barbecue et au four à pizza approvisionnés en bois. La piscine et le jardin sont entretenus chaque jour pour un agrément maximal. Le patio est parfait pour déjeuner au frais. Gentillesse et discrétion en prime. Merci beaucoup à tous deux pour ce magnifique séjour !

We stayed 14 days at Loretta & Renzos house, just after the reopening of Italy. It was a wonderfull vacation. The communication with the owners is easy. They are friendly and helpfull. The images are surpassed by reality, this is a great place - we will be back.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub. Das Objekt bot alles, was wir uns erhofft hatten: Ruhe, einen herrlichen Blick in die Umgebung, wunderbare Zimmer und Bäder sowie einen tollen Pool. Am Abend gab es selbstgemachte Pizza im Pizzaofen. Die Gastgeber waren immer über Telefon oder Whatsapp zu erreichen und haben uns Wein und Prosecco aus dem eigenen Weinberg vorbeigebracht. Die Urlaubswoche war viel zu kurz.

Gorgeous secluded villa

Villa Loretta is a fabulous, spacious rustic property with a large, very clean pool and well maintained gardens. Renzo and Loretta were so warm and friendly. We felt part of the family and locality. The elevated eating area with stunning views across the valley was a particular feature. I agree with other reviews, the photos are unable to to capture the beauty and peace of this lush valley. We would definitely visit again!

A Bit of Tuscan Heaven!

Our stay at Camporgiano was wonderful, and the property comes exactly as advertised, a gem in an exquisite section of Tuscany. The directions in were helpful, but we still needed some assistance from a local to get to the property. A sign at the "wheelie bins" and again up the road at the fork in the road by the older empty house would have been helpful,but we found our way there. The villa is spacious, well-equipped and Lorenzio was wonderful in welcoming us and answering any questions we had. The pool was a bonus, as the weather was unseasonably hot for the middle of September. The location is a bit remote, although we grew to love that about it. The quiet and relaxing atmosphere was a time of great enjoyment. Exploring the surrounding towns and down to Lucca was a treat, although driving in Italy takes some adjusting! We can recommend the property highly, and hope someday to return.

Our first time to Tuscany

The photos of this villa do not capture the true beauty of the location, the villa and its surrounding grounds. It is so quiet and peaceful and surpassed our expectations. The villa is well equipped and the kitchen has everything you require. The outside furniture on the terrace and around the pool is of a high standard. The swimming pool is the largest I have seen in a villa rental and well maintained by Renzo on a daily basis normally before the family were up. The interior fixtures and fitting our adequate but some may find the bedroom/bathroom layout unusual. I would strongly recommend you check this villa meets your requirements before booking but for myself and my family it was outstanding and provided everything we could have wished for. Lorretta and Renzo really made us welcome and were nearby to help if required. I would return to this Villa if intending re-visiting the area.

Paradise for families

Everything about this house is fantastic! If you want a very private and absolutely amazing place to stay for a week or two, this is where you should go. The booking procedure, checking in, and staying as well as leaving, is simple and the contact at Tuscan retreats and the owners are easy to reach and quick to answer. Renzo and his son-in-law came over to help out directly on our first morning in the house when a thunder storm (beautiful to look at over the mountains!) killed the power and we texted them. The owners, Loretta and Renzo, are sweet and helpful but never intrusive. Perfect hosts! The house is extremely well equipped and you get a rustique, homey feeling there. There is so much love put into the garden, which is so well cared for and absolutely beautiful! The pool was 27-28 degrees and even though the weather was a bit shifting during our stay we enjoyed both the garden and the pool a great deal. Do try the pizza oven! A bit tricky (don’t make the pizzas too big and use lots of flour, so they can slide into the oven!) but so much fun once you get the hang of if. And the pizzas taste amazing! You can take nice walks in the area around the house, and Camporgiano with shops (they are super nice at the grocery store Punto/Simply, but do not speak English) and restaurants is only a 5- minute drive away. But do also visit Castelnuovo a 15-minute drive away, which is bigger and more lively. We found the recommended restaurant Il Pozzo (near Castelnuevo) overrated, but Mulin del Rancone in Camporgiano is very nice, and so is Davy’s cafe. Our nicest meal, however, was at Pizzeria Il Corte in Pietrasanta close to the coast. And the drive back to the house from there over the mountains is breathtaking!!! Over all, driving the roads in the mountains around the area is a lot of fun, but be very careful! All in all, we had an absolutely incredible week! Wish we didn’t have to leave and hope to return some day!

Idyllic, peaceful and relaxing

We stayed here for our first family holiday, 6 adults and a baby, house is great size, well equipped and stayed cool indoors even in the heat! We loved the pizza oven, BBQ and terrace area and spent a lot of time in this area for meals. Location is very remote, there is nothing local to walk to so if you like complete isolation it’s great, if you want to walk to a bar or for an ice cream, it’s not for you! We discovered fire flies in the woodland area one evening that was magical, a bug light show every evening from 10 -11.30pm! Pool area is lovely but the water was freezing! Renzo was on hand everyday if you needed him, but equally left us alone as he watered the gardens/maintained the pool early each morning. Views from the property were stunning, we ventured further north to a lake which was beautiful and by train into Lucca, again beautiful city. Handy hint: get some clear directions before you travel, we spent almost an hour trying to find a villa that the locals said didn’t exist, fortunately one of our party spoke Italian and we found it down a dirt track!!!

Traumhaus für die ganze Familie!

Das Haus ist wunderschön in den Bergen gelegen. Der Garten ist atemberaubend und der große Pool ist wunderbar! Die Betreuung vor Ort war hervorragend! Neben Restaurant und Ausflugtipps unterstützen uns die Vermieter auch so bei Fragen! Wir kommen wieder! Einfach traumhaft!

Secluded house with beautiful views

The house and grounds are beautiful and the views are spectacular. The house was spacious and we loved the outdoor veranda where we ate all our meals. The pool was great. It was a peaceful retreat after days of sightseeing. The unpaved road to the house was a little challenging for us but we started to get used to it after a few drives. The house could have used a little more furniture, specifically seating in the living room. The beds were also very, very firm. The house was also lacking items that we have come to expect in most rentals such as basic cleaning supplies like dish soap (there were 3 dishwasher tablets but no liquid soap for hand washing dishes), laundry soap, and extra trash bags. Overall, we loved the property and would return.

Wonderful home with amazing views and very nice owners!!!

This home is really beautiful with outstanding views, a fabulous pool, and fantastic grounds! The setting is very peaceful, private and quiet. However, it is only a five minute drive to a grocery store and some very good restaurants. The kitchen is very well equipped, but when you get tired of cooking Davy’s restaurant has great pizza and there is a nice restaurant with a great chef just down the road at the Agritourismo Mulin del Rancone. The owners were very nice and even shared some of their home made Prosecco with us! Renzo cleaned the pool every morning and the yard was always impeccable! We also found Lorraine and her staff at Tuscan Retreats to be very responsive and easy to work with. They even sent an email just ahead of our stay informing us of an abrupt weather change, so that we could pack accordingly. We spent two weeks at the house and made a day trip to Lucca and spent a few days in Florence. We also visited the Fortress at Verrucolle just across The Valley which you can see from the house. The Osteria in the village there has delicious food! We highly recommend this house and plan to visit again as soon as we can!!!
