You are in Florida. As so, there are wildlife abound Don’t be surprised to see the wildlife while vacationing in the area. Our wildlife includes iguanas, alligators, mice, mosquitos, bees, chipmunks, spiders, millipedes , ants (fire, bull and sugar), snakes, and our super cute burrowing owls. Please be aware of your surroundings and do not approach the wildlife.

Host very responsive. Neighborhood is near Del Prado where many restaurants and shops are. House was clean and well furnished. However there were several issues with the condition of the house itself. Holes in walls, appliances damaged or not working properly, work being done on the home 3 days while we were there. Required to do dishes and wash towels before checkout, but no dishwasher tabs or laundry detergent. WiFi is advertised but didn’t have access. Exterior lighting wasn’t fully functional. We had to replace lightbulbs ourselves. Grill was very dirty and the grates were extremely deteriorated and rusty. Black stains on the pillow cases. Guest bath exhaust fan very loud, grout falling out exposing the inner wall in the shower. Closet doors missing in one of the bedrooms. Maybe our standards are high, but based on the pictures in the listing, we thought we were getting something better than what we actually got. Our overall experience did not meet our expectations.

This was booked due to friends being without a home from the recent storms. The price was fair for the area and the home was nice. There is hurricane damage which makes the pool a safety hazard (fending was not secure around the pool) it is in the bottom of the list I g that the cage is not repaired, but may want to remove ability for small children to stay in the home to prevent injury / death from pool accidents
