The Osprey Nest is a private & tastefully appointed 3-room suite, perfect for one or two guests. It is hidden in a peaceful, wooded neighborhood just 10 minutes from Cape May’s beaches, restaurants, and attractions. With 12 years on VRBO and and now hundreds of 5 star ratings, this popular seaside tuck-away beckons you to come and relax. Envision yourself on the private front porch sipping a glass of wine after the beach, contemplating Cape May’s amazing restaurants and deciding where to have a lovely dinner. Then you return home to the sumptuous bed for a magical sleep. The owner, Craig, who harks from a family with deep roots in Cape May, has been the resident property manager for over 12 years. The Osprey Nest has recently been completely re-carpeted with resilient carpet and top shelf padding for comfort.
The Space:
Enjoy and relax on the front porch with cushioned seating overlooking a tranquil neighborhood street and lovely landscaped garden. Enter into a cozy sitting room with a full-size sofa that has power reclining buttons on each end. The unique coffee table design lifts up to become a full sized dining table or workspace. 40” HD Smart TV has WiFi access to YouTube TV and all streaming using Amazon fire stick. There is an Alexa device for music and local “what to see and do”info, turn on lights, etc. The bedroom features a luxurious queen size new Casper mattress with memory foam topper (5 star rated by most guests) made up with luxury 100% Egyptian cotton and viscose bamboo linens. There is a Roku TV with YouTube TV in the BR for streaming your favorite apps, such as Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, etc.
Bathroom:
The remodeled private bathroom includes a marble floor, step-in dual head shower with glass doors, ADA compliant grab bars, and endless on-demand hot water. The toilet is ADA compliant height with a grab bar when needed. All quality bath products supplied by host are lovingly selected curated products. There is a high window in the shower and a ceiling fan for ventilation.

Craig lives onsite (in a private adjacent unit), and is a seasoned Cape May expert with deep local roots, history and knowledge. Born into hospitality, a former restaurateur and realtor, now happily retired. Craig is always happy to help answer Guest questions. A warm inclusive host, Craig welcomes all guests, including international travelers, LGBTQ+, and guests with ADA accessibility needs. He has 3 adorable rescued girl dogs - Canela, and Bella, and Luna - Cavalier King Charles Spaniels- who are learning to welcome guests. They are gentle and loving, emerging from their former lives of fear and abuse. Sometimes shy, sometimes they bark, but irresistibly charming girls.

Just a 10-minute bike ride to stunning sunsets over Delaware Bay and 15 minutes by car to the beaches of Cape May, Cape May Point, and The Wildwoods. The serene location offers the best of both worlds: peaceful seclusion and close proximity to all the area’s highlights.
