You can enjoy hiking trails, visit Peña Trevinca (the highest mountain in Galicia), El Teixadal (one of the largest and most important yew forests in Europe), or the old Valborraz mine, used during World War II for tungsten extraction. The village is quiet and offers a free pool, playground, and a canteen where you can enjoy homemade food and a good atmosphere. You can also visit O Barco de Valdeorras, about 24 km away, and Las Médulas, about 35 km away, an ancient Roman gold mining site.
