There were so many things wrong that are too long to list. Let's start with lack of screens on the windows that were open and allowed a variety of bugs in the room and end with the discovery of roaches in the room. The manager was really good at accommodating the fact that we wanted to leave, he gave no push back and was very professional. I will NEVER stay here again or recommend this location.

I have stayed here because of the price, it for sure needs a lot of up grades, but this time I found a baby roach on the floor in the kitchen area. When we got home, my husband found two more baby roaches in our cooler that we put our food into. It was late when I packed our cooler. Did not see any roaches.

The #1 thing I didn’t like was that when I turned on the lights to the room, cockroaches went running. The second thing I didn’t like about the room was that I booked an accessible room, and this room had nothing about it that was accessible! And it was about 3:00 AM. So it wasn’t a convenient time to look for another hotel! I have pictures if anyone would like to see.

Our night started off with a very professional young man who was courteous at the counter. The room and the overall condition of the hotel however was Nasty!! The pool doesn't have water in it. The ground floor room window was stuck wide open with no screen. The toilet ran non-stop. There was no blanket on the bed. The sink didn't drain. The tub had sand and footprints in the bottom of it. A crackhead had dropped their pipe too many times on the couch... Tons of burn holes. I wish I were exaggerating. The hallway carpets were so filthy they were streaked with black paths. The highlight of our very short time there was when three Police officers knocked on the door looking for a felon they were pursuing. It was quiet-ish. The highway and train were the only loud noises. This hotel used to be acceptable. I hope the management decides to make it acceptable again. Until then....nope

The room is very big and clean and the hotel other than that you can tell was very pretty.. the down side is the pool was closed and there were not shampoo's in the shower. Just soap. Overall it was better than i expected and it is better than all the other cheaper hotels in the Carlsbad area that I have stayed in and I've been in 5 of them over the past few years.

The room was terrible. The carpet was terrible very dirty. The hallway carpet very dirty. I had a roach in my room. Our lock on the door was not very secure. The ice machine had dirty water making ice. I will never stay there again. The bedsheet has stains in it.

Nightmare

Room was dirty the furniture was filthy and the room had roaches and mold. The kitchen floor was super slippery, I almost slipped. The tv was not working and the pool was out of service which they never informed this on the app.

Paid almost $300 for 2 night stay. (5/23 thru 5/25). Pool and fitness center were down/ out of order. Market was not available so we had to leave the premises for any food or snacks or water we needed. Got a room with a kitchenette, had 2 spoons and a couple glasses for coffee/ tea, but no coffee maker to be found. Bed was comfy but sheets looked questionable. There was hair in the shower from previous people. Wouldn’t stay here again for the price.
