The Borgo Santa Lucia farmhouse is surrounded by nature among fruit trees and a magnificent olive grove. In ancient times it was a real village where several families who owned lands and animals lived, who provided to support themselves above all with the resources that the land offered and hard work transformed. The oven house is still present today, where there is the old wood-burning oven that is still used to bake bread, pizzas and pitte with an ancient flavor! Those who like grilled food will not be able to miss the large and well-kept barbecue corner. The rich cuisine is delicious and attentive to every need. About 20 km from le Castella, a fraction of Isola di Capo Rizzuto, in the province of Crotone, overlooking the bay with the ancient Aragonese fortress, and about 30 km from the beautiful and suggestive Red Beaches in the splendid naturalistic scenery of the protected marine area of Capo Rizzuto, and 12 km from Sersale, door of the small Sila from where to start a tour of the waterfalls of the Crocchio river and the now famous Valli Cupe and then proceed inside the lush Sila.
