The 15-acre property is surrounded by its vineyards and extensive land, it features an infinity pool overlooking mount Etna, beautiful guestrooms with sweeping views, stylish furnishings, open fireplaces, al fresco dining areas and outdoor cooking facilities. Here you will find everything you need for a large group of friends and family to spend some quality time together. The heart of the main house evolves around the open space of 80 sq. m. Its living area is dominated by large comfortable sofas. The dining area can accommodate 16 persons around the large dining table and the kitchen is a dream come true for any aspiring chef. A few steps below the living and dining area is the original millstone in the “palmento” where the grapes were once crushed and left to macerate. Here you can help yourself to the private wine cellar with DOC wines from the Etna Region, including Terre Normanne’s own wines. Like all traditional farmhouses the Tenuta consists of several buildings. The main house is on two floors. In the old days, the owners lived upstairs and on the lower floor, known as Palmento, the wine was made. Several smaller houses were used as shelters for the animals, tools and staff. All of which have now been converted into rooms.

Interior:
The main building of the estate, named “La Vite” mesures about 250 sqm and develops into two floors connected by an external staircase. The upper floor has a large fully equipped kitchen with open fireplace, and two wonderful stylish double bedrooms offering sweeping panoramic views of the volcano, both of them with en-suite bathrooms, one with tub and shower and one with shower. On the same floor you can find a guest bathroom and a large sitting and dining room. On the ground floor there is “The Old Palmento” – here the wine was made once, now renovated with the wine cellar, ad old working station, a living room with fireplace, a play and TV room and a guest bathroom. Just a few steps away you can find the old farmers house, “Gli Ulivi” approximately 150 sqm. This house offers sweeping views of the wineyard. Also this building develops into two floor but with internal connection. The ground floor has a living room with fireplace, a kitchen and one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. The upper floor is gifted with two double bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms, of which one with tub and shower and onw with shower. On the same floor you can find a reading area. “La Mela”, where they once stored apples, is a gracious small house of about 40 sqm on a single level, composed by a double bedroom, a double bedroom with bed 1,40 m large and a bathroom with shower. The last unit recently restored, it’s a delicious dependance named “I Noci”, composed by a twin bedroom with joinable beds and a bathroom with shower.
Park:
Endless space for outdoor living here. The grounds are large enough to go jogging within the property. The kitchens of La Vite and Ulivo open onto a terraces for informal al fresco meals. A shaded gazebo houses a large table and an outdoor kitchen complete with barbecue. The houses are surrounded by lawn so lots of space for picnics and lounging on the grass. The grounds include a kitchen garden and fruit trees so some of your ingredients will be of the freshest kind! Francesco, the caretaker who lives nearby will leave freshly laid eggs and croissants every morning for breakfast. Last but not least vineyards surround the villa.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool, about 50 m from the main house, is secluded and not visible from it. Measuring 16 x 8 m with a progressive depth from 1,00 to 2,10m, the pool has chlorine purification and is lined in smooth grey cement with the border and internal Roman steps in lava stone, perfect for children's games and swimming. It is surrounded by a terracotta solarium, bordered by lawn and equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. You will be enchanted by the view of the vineyards, the countryside and the view of Etna in front. The area is ideal for relaxing in the sun during the day and for sipping a good glass of wine at sunset. Close by is an outdoor cold-water shower and a bathroom. The pool is available from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday in October.
