The hotel was actually better than expected. Parking was super convenient. The pools were small, but having two of them that didn't matter. The gym was superb for a hotel gym of its size. Overall, the place had the feeling of a well-maintained/renovated downtown conference hotel from the 1980s or 1990s -- you can't date it from the interior, only from the core architecture. And that just blends in with Cville.

This is a beautiful boutique-style hotel. Lovely lobby and rooms and great location with pretty jewelry and antique shops right outside the door. The staff is professional and helpful. Great experience!

Great restaurant/bar downstairs A little noisy in the room because of the bar (4th floor room overlooking the bar/restaurant) but nothing a sound machine couldn’t block out. Very comfortable room/bed, great blackout curtains.
