Positives: The staff was super friendly and the hotel was aesthetically nice over all. The bed was soft and the room was clean. Problems: We had a few issues, though. Our shower never got hot. It was just lukewarm. We were only there one night so by the time I took the shower, it wasn’t worth relocating rooms bc I didn’t need to use it again. Additionally in our particular room, the shower door would not remain closed. We just wedged a shampoo bottle to keep pressure so it would stay closed. Had our stay been any longer I would have requested a room change but it wasn’t necessary. I did make the staff aware and they offered to send maintenance. Our second issue came at 5am. The smoke alarm in our from woke us up from a dead sleep. The front desk called and asked if we were cooking or smoking. Neither. We were asleep. We did have to wait for the fire department to arrive to inspect our room so that wasn’t fun in the early morning hours. No communication from the hotel after that and no offer to comp our room or make an apology. We were able to doze back off around 7am but housekeeping banged on the door at 830 even though we had until 11 to check out. It was super frustrating and we didn’t sleep anyway so we just got up and left. Overall maybe a different room would have changed the experience but given the situation, I don’t think we’d stay here again.

FYI - Please consider informing your guests about the parking situation as a violation results in a $16 ticket and a $2.50 fee for paying by phone.

My family and I stayed at Hotel Indigo Chattanooga Downtown from October 30th to November 1st, 2025, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special shoutout to Donovan at the front desk — he was incredibly friendly, professional, and went out of his way to make us feel at home. Whether it was answering our questions, offering great local recommendations, or just greeting us with a genuine smile every time we passed through the lobby, he truly made our stay stand out. The valet team was also fantastic — always quick, courteous, and upbeat. It really made coming and going a breeze, especially with kids in tow. The hotel itself is beautiful and spotless, with a stylish modern feel and plenty of cozy touches. The location can’t be beat — walking distance to restaurants, attractions, and the riverfront. We left feeling refreshed, well cared for, and already talking about when we can come back. Thank you, Donovan and the entire Hotel Indigo team, for making our visit such a great one!
