The ‘house’ was more like a motel. There was no place to relax after a long day, as there were only beds in two rooms and a galley kitchen. They had a desk in each room and a folding table in the galley kitchen with a folding chair. The bathtub had no plug, so shower only. The area was very remote, but the saving grace was the free shuttle to Disney and the airport. We were told that the shuttle was for many properties, so the time was only slightly flexible and you were allowed one destination per day. Our driver was nice and tried his best to accommodate our needs. the beds were hard and the write up stated 2 doubles in each room, but there were 3 double beds in total. Our place was entered 2/3 days we were at attractions without notice, until I brought it up asking why. All in all, compared to the other stays in Japan, this was our least comfortable.

Super friendly host with lots of recommendations. Always available for help. The place was in great condition and very spacious. They offered a shuttle from train station and a shuttle back to airport which was a huge help! My experience was top notch and I’d stay there again!Thank you for hosting us!!

Mr. Kim is really what made this property a big 5 stars. He drove us all over, gave us tips and taught us about the local culture. Mr. Kim made our stay wonderful! Location was perfect with great restaurants, grocery and drug store within a few minutes walk. We also discovered a great area by the river where I had my morning runs along a beautiful path, hubby worked out a the playground and kiddos played as well. The only negative was that there is no living room for the family to gather. But kitchen was well equipped to cook meals for our family of 5. Highly recommend!

Excellent Stay

This was a great stay. It was easy to get a ride to and from Disney every day. The driver was fantastic, convenient to wash clothes, great shower and nice kitchen. Overall amazing stay.

Great Value for families

Pros: - value for money, the longer you stay the cheaper it is - 2 double beds hence ideal for families - kitchen with utensils - decent heating for Nov - decent bathroom - Disney vibe (bath mats, wallpaper, etc) - shuttle service, free pickup from nearest station (Yachiyodai). Decent price if to/from Narita airport - family mart, 7 eleven, and big Yacs nearby - some restaurants nearby Cons: - it's about a 45 minute normal walk to the station. Bit spooky if doing it at night as you will go through some empty streets and slightly industrial areas. But always lit, and still relatively safe, since it's Japan - you do get some occasional bus, but it's not guaranteed (one bus I waited for did not arrive despite my maps and timetable saying otherwise) - I thought it would be the whole place to myself, but it's actually a semi-detached house. So if you have neighbouring guests you will hear what's going on next door. You can even hear a cough. To be fair, the hosts did try to put signage that asks guests to be considerate, but even then - one can forget these things. - the bed linen was different from the photo. I was expecting white cotton, but brown ..polyester, maybe(?), and a bedsheet that was like a fluffy blanket. It wasn't suitable for me as I felt itchy. As per the title of this review - if you're a family travelling by car then this is likely to be an excellent deal. If you're a solo traveler using public transport, and a light sleeper, then maybe consider elsewhere.

Great accommodations

Clean, and silent at night. Beds were warm and comfortable. A couple of restaurants and combini shops are walkable, but the ride to Disney is about an hour by train or 35 minutes by car. Car rides are expensive in Japan. All appliances were functional and the shower always had hot water.

Staying in chiba hanimigawa

The accommodation itself is a very comfortable stay. it was like a fully furnished one bedroom apartment. That came with an umbrella, TV, A/C heating and air purification, the futon in the bedroom was very nice the bed in the living room. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant with yacs drugstore and 2 kombinis nearby. The downsides was since my flight took a long time to taxi and the immigration line was long so, I was unable to get a shuttle to the accomodation and was difficult to find at first with a 2 hour trip into town. The logistics of the location is ideal for families doing day trips to Disney parks, but very far for city trips into Tokyo's prefectures.

Japan Fam trip 2024

We got picked up and dropped off at the airport hassle-free, with no worries about our luggages. We had a fantastic time staying at this residency. Our stay was in a safe neighborhood, near 3 restaurants (including ramen and Chinese), a 7/11, and a convenience store named Yac’s. It was very convenient! Kim, our driver, safely dropped us off and picked us up at anywhere we requested to in Tokyo, and he was always on time. Very pleasant experience, and no complaints! Would definitely stay here again if we are to come back to Tokyo. Thank you Shiho & Kim for making this trip a memorable one!

Ideal amount of space for family of 4

Our family of 4, including 2 kids under 8, had a comfortable stay. We had originally planned to come with grandparents as well, but the 6 of us would have felt a bit cramped. The space was clean and well stocked. The washing machine did not have a drying feature, so we used the balcony to dry clothes. On rainy days, there is a laundromat within walking distance. The host was very responsive and helpful. There are 2 units in one building, with no shared spaces except the main entrance.

立地は駅等の交通機関から若干遠い場所にありましたが、指定場所からのシャトルバスを予約出来るため、非常に助かります。私有車用の駐車場も備えているとのこと。 こちらの都合上、夜分にメール連絡をすることが多かったのですが、迅速に対応をしてもらえたため、旅行の準備を的確に行うことができました。

Fantastic stay and trip

The accommodation bill includes the shuttle bus fare, which is really cheap. I took a taxi on the last trip, and I was surprised because the taxi fare was 15,000 yen to previous hotel.

It was comfortable~

My family stayed here and went to Disney for both days. Disneyland has many attractions, but Disney sea was a good place to take pictures. It's like Venice and it recalled my old trip to Venice. I think you look pretty when you take a picture in Disney sea. Anyway If you're traveling Disney with your family, this accommodation would be nice. I recommend.

Nice trip!

When I went on a trip everytime, it was so hard for me to take care of all the schedules and transportation, but I stayed here and solved them all. I went to Tokyo Disney and Odaiba by accommodation's shuttle bus and finished my first trip to Tokyo well. Thank you Shiho!
