Come in not expecting the Ritz and you’ll be fine. They have a delightful hot continental breakfast. They’re a block away from Michigan Ave, super location. It’s a good bang for your buck. I’d definitely stay again as it’s a great place to lay your head after a busy day of exploring

If you like the 1980s vibe then this is your spot. It was like waking back in time. The rooms were clean but ceramic over grouted time in the bathroom. Customer service was subpar at its best. Would I recommend? Be your own judge. For the price and period of if time stayed u would gicenit a 4.5/10

It is a very beautiful, historic property with nicely appointed common areas. The bed in our room was super comfortable but the shower ran only cold water. Also, there was only one working lamp and one outlet available to charge phones.

In town to help family move— good location; staff is lovely in all interactions; breakfast buffet is actually quite a step above of other hotels; refrig in rooms but no microwave or coffee pot ( they do have an electric water pot for tea and coffee brew bags). It is an old hotel that for the most part is very pretty and quaint. There were some things in the room that could be updated— wall paper and exposed plumbing in bathroom, but otherwise bed was comfy and room was good sized.
