My stay was very good. I did not spend a lot of time in the hotel but it worked for me as far as the price. It was an older hotel but the tile work in the bathroom was fabulous but some parts were dated but once again I did not want to spend. A lot of money for housing. It worked for me.

1 star - for the good reception staff. The rest is just awful. Bad and very tasteless food for breakfast - deduct one point. Completely blocked windows, no ventilation - deduct one point. The price of the room is highly overpriced and does not correspond to the size of the rooms (they are tiny) - deduct one point. No lighting in the room (two dim bulbs per room) - deduct one point.

The hotel has its old charm. However, it is very poorly managed. The checkin process took about 20 minutes because the only staff at the front desk did not know how to handle the checkin system when something went wrong. The most disappointing part was the maintenance of the facility. The only floor stand had a dead bulb. There was hair in the sink. One of the towels was wet as if it was used by the previous customer. The bathroll was also wet as if a cleaning staff spread water. I have never experienced any of these even at much cheaper hotels. I would avoid this hotel.

Beautiful area. Some of the employees professionalism was subpar. For example, the obvious side glances I received during my check in. I felt unsafe because of a few male employees. For example one, showing up as I was checking and another one at the same time as I exited the elevator trying to engage me in a conversation. I didn't appreciate another male employee's aggressive behavior towards me while we riding up in the elavator. He got in the on the 4th floor with ice buckets (if there was an ice machine, I was told that it was not available when I asked). He began talking to me like we were the best of friends. He made the distance between us smaller. It did not matter that I turned my face away and ignored him, he contined his questions wanting to engaged me in a conversation. As I squeezed by him trying to exit the elevator, he ogled my breast. When I got off the elevator, I walked past my hotel room. I turned around to see if he got off too but noticed him staring at my hotel door number. Although, I never seen this male employee before, he knew exactly what room I was renting. When I first entered the room, there was litter on the carpet. This let me know that it was not vacuumed, the floor was sloped, I had to flush the toliet several times for clear water. Athough they had coffee condiments and boasted they offered coffee, there was not a coffee maker in my room. I will not stay at the Whitehall Hotel again for these reasons.

Staff was awesome. Hotel was nice. They upgraded me to a suite when i told them it was my anniversary. Wish they would have had ice and vending. You could call for ice service to your room though.

The staff was really nice and accommodating. But honestly the pictures on the website were a little deceptive. This hotel is clearly old and in desperate need of updating. Even the smell in the hallway just reminded you of an old building. However my stay was very nice and quiet. The hotel is in a good area and walking distance from major landmarks.

Great Stay!!

This property was great. We arrived early to the property and Cheryl was AMAZING checking us in. She apologized multiple times for not having a room ready. This was 100% expected because we were SUPER early. However she found one and got us into a room when we had no expectations. The phone kept ringing over and over and she handled everything perfectly. She was extremely warming and a GREAT asset to this hotel! Our room was clean and tidy, the only issue that we had was anytime we adjusted the AC and left the room no matter the length of being gone the AC reverted to a setting of 79 degrees. It also happened overnight. I spoke with the front desk and they came to fix the issue while we were gone. The breakfast was okay, nothing terrible but also nothing fantastic. I would 100% stay here again in a heartbeat!
