We are GuestReady, a property management company, and we want to ensure your stay is as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Please note that this is a private home, so take good care of it as if it were your own.

Grand Heritage Borges is located in downtown Coimbra, the historic heart of the city and one of its most iconic and vibrant areas.

From here, Coimbra reveals itself right at your doorstep. Within a short walk, you can easily reach:

• University of Coimbra (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
• Monastery of Santa Cruz
• Historic monuments and cultural museums
• Banks of the Mondego River
• Traditional cafés, local restaurants and wine bars
• The city's distinctive academic and nightlife atmosphere

The historic centre is mostly pedestrian-friendly, but public car parks are just a few minutes' walk away.

Once you arrive, most of Coimbra's main points of interest can be easily explored on foot.

This property offers self check-in and you will be asked to verify your identity before checking in. Check-in can be done from 2 PM, subject to availability and confirmation.


There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a minimum fee of €200 for violation of this rule.


Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of utilities will apply with a limit of €80.


For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.


Extra keys: €20 (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or door-opening service during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra linen: €30 (towels and sheets for 2 people, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
