Not worth the money

We were given the key to our room, the room was dirty and still had other people’s bed sheets and towels on the floor, we were then given a smaller room which isn’t what we paid for so asked to just wait for the initial one but we were then given a room that was supposedly the same as our original but was smaller, the shower gel holder kept falling off the wall, the shower head wouldn’t stay in the holder, and the toilet roll holder came off the wall when ever it was used. Bed advertised as king is two singles put together, so you spend most your time climbing out the gap in the middle. Really disappointed. There isn’t any parking as advertised, it’s in a private car park seperate to the hotel and not really close by, overall, we wouldn’t have spent the money we did if we’d have known.

Lage des Hotel ist wunderbar. An allem anderen könnte man verbessern. Die Sauberkeit des Hotels war unterirdisch. Wir mussten erst mal das Bad putzen dieses war bei Ankunft nicht gereinigt. Haare im vergilbten Waschbecken,auf dem Boden Zahnpastareste und die Dusche war einfach nur eklig. Schimmel am Duschschlauch und an der Handbrause. Die Glastüren noch mit Schampoo verschmiert. Im Zimmer eine verfleckte und zerrissene Tagesdecke auf dem Bette. Alles zugesaubt. Die Kaffeemaschiene und Wasserkocher klebrig und zugestaubt. Nach der Beschwerde am nächsten Morgen, wurde das Zimmer überhaupt nicht gereinigt. Netterweise hat uns der Rezeptionist wenigstens neue Handtücher gebracht. Wir haben dann nach 2 übernachtungen nicht verlängert und sind in ein anderes Hotel. Die zugesagten 50% für das Parkhaus haben auch nicht funktioniert. Da der gegebene Barcode nicht einlösbar war. Alles sehr ärgerlich Wir hatten uns auf die guten Bewertungen verlassen. Diese kommen wohl nur zu stande durch die Aufforderungen der Rezeption seine Bewertung zu schreiben und vorzuzeigen, dann gibt es auch einen Gratis Cocktail. Bei der Abreise wurde uns erzählt viele hätten sich beschwert, und ja man müsse was ändern. Trotzdem werden wir dieses Hotel nicht mehr besuchen.

Perfect location! We had a family suite and it easily slept all 6 of us. Beds were comfy, had a great view of the Rhein as well. The only downside was the carpets could be cleaned or replaced with laminate.

On the Rhine.

A lovely room on the Rhine River. Nice setting! Affordable. Just a little awkward getting to the room, needing to take luggage up the stairs. Close to the cathedral and other sites!

Fantastic

We loved our stay at the Rhein Hotel. Rooms are gorgeous and the location is amazing, it’s right on the River. There’s a restaurant and bar under the hotel which is great. It’s very close to the city centre and there lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance. The main train station is a 10 minute walk. A lovely buffet breakfast is offered two doors down at the Lowenbrau hotel. An extensive range of hot and cold food. We would definitely stay again.
