We had a great stay! The room was clean and bed was comfortable (top cover was kinda old and wish it had better covers overall). Had a small refrigerator (located in a little closet with an odd smell), no microwave just fyi. Location was great and walkable to HOF. We don’t like B&B’s so hotels are limited in this area…you’re not going to find big chain hotels this close to HOF so this was perfect for us.

We were a bit worried when we got a call while on the road that our reserved king bed room was not available for our arrival, but we appreciated that the host upgraded our room to a bay view double. We were not disappointed we arrived to find the beautiful view of the lake, just two short blocks from the Baseball Hall of Fame—-and also pleased to find a very clean updated room, despite its small size. We don’t usually like motel style outdoor facing rooms due to safety concerns, but we felt very safe in our room due to the clear care the proprietors took to maintain the property. If the shower head had been a bit taller, and the bed a little firmer—small issues only—this would be a five star review.

Basically it’s a glorified Motel 6. Very spartan and no services. But, it’s clean, on the marina/water and walkable to the downtown. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant next door is an excellent choice for breakfast.

The room was cure and the balcony had a lovely view of lighthouse and lake. We received food discount vouchers and one free ticket on the lake tour boat. We used both and enjoyed the food at the restaurant and our lake boat tour. Would highly recommend!

The room was very clean, but we had a to move to another room because the television was not working, and the restaurant in the premises was closed for the season The restaurant is open from Mother’s Day until Columbus Day. Other than the restaurant being closed and and the television not working, overall it was a nice stay close to the Basel Hall of Fame, restaurants and shopping. The staff was extremely helpful in moving us to the room next door with a functional television. The customer service was impressive.

The bathroom counter space was very limited but overall the room, amenities, and the convenience of walking to the Baseball Hall of Fame were fine for us. The view over the lake was peaceful and relaxing too.

Overall our stay was a beautiful experience. Cooperstown is a charming place and we loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There’s a restaurant nearby that was really convenient and delicious. Walkable to downtown and other dining options. Our only complaints are that we could hear our neighbors clearly, such as their full conversations. One of our neighbors snored pretty loudly and we could hear it. I suggest ear plugs! The room would get stuffy quickly, especially after a shower. I suggest installing a fan in the bathrooms to help with it. Overall, comfortable stay aside from the notes above. My husband and I can’t wait to go again!

The restaurant was absolutely delicious to eat at and the free ferry ride tixs for 2 people u get with a stay is well worth it!!!! An hour ride and it has a bar on the boat too. Would 100% recommend to anyone to stay here.

Lake view was luscious, staff were very friendly and helpful. The only quibble I have were the bugs--seven or eight of them, one rather large and dead which I almost stepped on in the bathroom. So they may want to check on that. Otherwise, fine.

Peaceful quaint lake front motel with attached restaurant and lake boat ride. Staff was super friendly. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off at 6am with no apparent fire issue.
