Comfortable for the family

The room was comfortable, although the air conditioning didn’t work and it got awfully humid. The water view was nice. The coffee in the lobby was excellent. There are also nesting ducks on the property which was so sweet!

Paid extra for water view, shrubs blocked the view so I asked for a 2nd story room - front desk staff said no, that I was “locked in” to the assigned room despite the fact I had not spent time in, brought my luggage in, or occupied the room at the time of the request. No manager was available to assist. Not good service , won’t be back.

Easy to get to off highway. Hotel staff was ffiendly. Good little dog area for our little buddy stretching his legs. Clean rooms and hot water for showers.

Love the stay!

The stay was amazing! Staff specially Matt on the friend desk was friendly and very accommodating. The housekeeping were nice and gave us all the towels we needed. The room is newly renovated and it was clean. The only thing I needed to complain about is the bed, it’s quite firm and a little hard on our backs. Other than that, room is pretty nice.

The problem was that I couldn't check in because the hotel didn't receive proper payment from Expedia after I paid through Expedia for the room in advance. Take a look at 8 days earlier then I discovered (without any advance notice) that the hotel Best Western Plus, I had booked and paid for in advance was closed and had been closed for weeks. I had to scramble and find another hotel. Expedia can expect much less business from me in the future after these 2 highly aggravating incidents that were totally Expedia's fault.

All the front desk staff were very friendly and pleasant! The hot tub is still not up and working after remodel. I think that should be in the info when making a reservation. Otherwise was a great stay.

Clean but had a few issues.

A bit of a mix up at check in. Front desk staff was friendly and worked hard to rectify the check-in issue. Rooms were clean. Our curtains did not work properly and the heating system needed rebooting. The door to our side of the building did not have a key entry, and remained unlocked during the daytime. Beds were comfortable.
