They are under construction so I do understand some but our room had a few things that could be better. Ice bin for our room was very dirty. The walls could really us a wipe down and a fresh coat of paint. Unknown stains on the wall and door. I think it's a very well used spot for people going to the airport.

The only thing good about this property was the nuce receptionist and the staff making breakfast. BE WARNED. Our room began to smell of gas around 10pm. We went down to notify the desk. They shared that the pool heater (which was right below our room) has a leak and they've had the problem for the last three months. She said they try not to heat the pool unless people complain so the leak doesnt bother other people as much. We ended up having to move our matress down the hall onto the floor of our relatives room. To the best of our knowlege it seemed as though our rooms were being updated. I understand sometimes there are growing pains but these updates consisted of painting over problems and a bunch of DIY fixes. There were all kinds of water damages in the bathroom that hadn't been addressed including mold on the tile. The toilets hardly flushed and the seats were cheap and moved a lot. The fans were as loud as motor. The lights didnt have covers. The caulk was split and peeling. The main door to the room was crooked and wouldnt close without slamming it. As a landlord myself, I understand that it can be a process to update things. But most all of these issues are maintenence problem. The pool heater problem is absolutely unsafe. Breakfast was pretty good, minus the moldly bagels... Literally, the only good thing was the sweet receptionist and the breakfast team. This hotel needs new ownership. Dont stay here if you want to feel comfortable.

The room wasn’t real clean and there were stains on the comforter and curtains. Staff was nice but not overly friendly. In general not super clean anywhere. Was excellent location for dropping someone off at the airport though!

The deadbolt lock on our door didn’t work. We asked for a different room and they quickly gave us one, but the second room reeked of stale smoke. They didn’t have a third room open so we chose to stay in our original room. The faucet in the tub/shower was separated from the wall. When I went to shower and pulled the mechanism on the faucet to move the water to the shower head, only 1/3 of the water came out of the shower head - the rest came out of the faucet. The fire alarm went off at 3am for no reason. Breakfast was surprisingly good, with scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, muffins and yogurt. The front desk girls seemed more interested in socializing with the staff than being professional and helpful with guests. Overall, a dated and dingy place.

The property was incredibly outdated and did not match the pictures on the website. If we needed to stay longer than a few hours overnight for our flight, we would’ve moved elsewhere. Our room did not feel clean at all. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere. The only positive was its shuttle to the airport.

The room smelled old and musty. Small TV, outdated carpet and dingy bathroom. The QUEEN sized beds are more of a FULL or twin size. Definitely not queen.

The property is near the CHI Health Center or Convention center. But the facilities are old. Some failed alarm system falsely triggered three times at the first night we stayed, waking up guests. The next night, it is better, but still triggered once. The cleaning service is only done every three days, which is pretty bad. The price hikes during the Birkshire Conference, which is ok, but the service does not match to it.
