Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
We arrived after check-in time, they had our check in packet posted for us. The cabin was clean and nice. There was a great little nature trail to walk and the location was perfect to head to Crater Lake National Park. We had a great time!
Nestled near Crater Lake amongst trees and mountains, this intimate resort with its individual cabins provides an outdoor living adventure within the safety and security of small clean safe cabins with every amenity needed. Canoes to paddle on the clear water creek, a walking path around it, and plenty of other distractions for the family or for a solo traveler like me. Check in at the little store, which is stocked with anything you need and staffed by very helpful people. I wish I could stay longer...
The staff was rude and bothered we we there. Clean towels seemed to cause the world to end. The complimentary firewood is a lie. The internet access is atrocious. The cabins are small and cramped and the shower is so small I burned myself bumping the handle.trying to turn around. The ac is too small for the cabin and could not keep up on an 80° day. The ceiling fans are not adjustable, the range ignition is broken. Daily maid service is not available. Got attitude asking for trash bags and bathroom paper. Take the trash out and do all your dishes or there is an undisclosed charge!!!. Do not touch the tv ( 15" monitor)or there is a charge. Complete waste of money.
The Crater Lake Resort was outstanding. Expedia made an error with our reservation. The staff of the Resort worked with us to resolve it and made sure we were given the accommodation we should have received. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We will go back.

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
The room has smells terrible, they said it’s the wood panels I’m not sure though. It was tiny, window blind is broken, and there are signs warning you they’ll charge you more if you don’t wash your own dishes or even unplug the TV. And the TV/monitor turned on itself in the middle of the night very couple hours! I don’t know how it got 2.5 stars honestly. It’s not even 1 star motel quality.
It was convenient to crater lake and an easy stop over point for heading out the next morning. Really more of a campground than resort with small cabins and no food options of any kind. The store on site closed early… probably because of off-season so no options for stocking up on things. Closest town is about 15 minutes away for food options but once there we did not want to venture back out so made do with snacks we had on the trip. cabins are quite small, but were clean and provided the needed necessities… Would recommend for a quick stop over

Zero star if I could
DO NOT STAY HERE if you care even a little bit about honesty or basic comfort. Look elsewhere.
⚠️ FRAUDULENT LISTING
Every booking site said the room had two queen beds. What we got? One queen + a sofa bed.
Asked them right away — they admitted it was a “translation error.” So they knew it was wrong and just left it like that to get more bookings?
No staff at night (we got there at 9:30pm — their “after hours” at a so-called 3-star resort?), and their “feel free to leave and we'll refund” message didn’t even reach us until days later due to bad signal.
Is that something we’re supposed to negotiate after arrival? Like many other bad reviews mentioned — there’s literally nowhere else to stay within 30 miles, and it was cold, dark, with poor signal.
We wouldn’t have put ourselves in this situation if they’d just been honest about what the room actually had.
⚠️ HOT WATER? We WAITED nearly an hour.
After 2 people took normal showers (~15 minutes), hot water was gone.
We waited another 45 minutes — still cold.
Our friend had to go to bed sweaty and dirty after hiking all day. Old stains on the bedsheet made me wonder if they even cleaned it properly.
Next morning we brought it up, and they were just like: “It’s common knowledge how water tanks work.”I’ve stayed at hundreds of places, and this is the first so-called “3-star resort” where this even happens.
Again — they knew, but just didn’t tell guests. But seriously — isn’t it COMMON SENSE that if something like that aff
