Lovely holiday

The property was as shown in the photos and was clean and well maintained. Be sure to ask how to use the stove and oven if you are not familiar with convection. Juan met us and gave us great travel tips. Monells is absolutely lovely!

This is a beautiful home within walking distance to an amazing medieval village.

We stayed in this home for a cycling vacation around Girona. The home is even more beautiful than in the pictures. We were a group of 3 and we had more than enough space. There was a bottle of wine, a big box of cookies/snacks and plenty of coffee pods waiting for us at the home. While we enjoyed our quiet time at the house, just a very short walk takes you to Monells medieval village. This village is a must see! You will not be disappointed with this home.

Boníssima comunicació amb l'amfitrió. La casa té de tot i perfectament cuidada. Estàs a dos minuts caminant del centre de Monells. Ubicada en un carrer momt tranquil per a poder .descansar i relaxar-se.

Super sejour

Très beau séjour dans un cadre très agréable et particulièrement calme. Un petit plus pour les personnes aimant la pétanque comme nous, il y a un terrain à 2 pas. Le village est très beau et il est très agréable de prendre une petite sangria sur la place centrale. Allez y sans soucis.

Maison idéalement située, près de chemins de randonnées, à proximité de Gérone, de la Costa Brava et d'une ligne de train permettant de rejoindre aisément Barcelone. Notre hôte s'est montré très disponible, très arrangeant et nous a donné de très bons conseils. Nous recommandons sans hésiter!

Totalmente recomendable !!

Estuvimos menos días de los que nos hubiera gustado en casa de Joan, pero los días que estuvimos fueron especiales. Joan es una persona Amable y cercana que cuándo te recibe te explica sitios y pueblos cercanos que ver. La casa es más grande de lo que parece en las fotos, está limpia y es Hogareña. Las camas son cómodas y hay dos televisores una en la planta de abajo y otra en la de arriba. La zona es tranquila sin ruidos y es perfecta para pasar unos días al lado del pueblo de Monells. Tuvimos un problema personal ajeno a la casa y Joan nos ayudó. Muchas gracias Joan!! Totalmente recomendable si quieres conocer Monells,Girona y bonitos pueblos de alrededor.

Wunderbar ruhiger Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern

Das Haus hat alles, was es braucht, lässt sich auch bei Hitze gut kühl halten. Man kann gut kochen. Die Betten sind gut. Der Garten hat Schatten und Sonne. Es ist ruhig gelegen. Der Vermieter hat uns mit einer Flasche Weißwein, Keksen und einem persönlichen Brief begrüßt, da er aus persönlichen Gründen nicht da sein könnte. Er ist zwei Tage später kurz vorbeigekommen, um allfällige Fragen zu klären. Alles war so wie erwartet und vorbesprochen. Wir haben einen schönen langen Urlaub mit viel Erholung und Wandern in der nahen Umgebung verbracht. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Haus und Garten sind für unseren mittelgroßen Hund gut geeignet.

Casa molt confortable per gaudir de l'Empordà

Casa molt confortable per passar uns dies a l’Empordà. A l’arribada vàrem trobar una ampolla de vi a la nevera i una caixa de galetes de benvinguda, un detall molt bonic! Tota la casa estava molt neta, també el jacuzzi exterior. La cuina disposa d’un bon parament de casa i te sortida directe a la porxada, cosa que facilita poder dinar a l’exterior i gaudir del jardí. La comunicació amb el propietari ha sigut molt fàcil i amable. Hem estat molt a gust, hi tornarem.

La maison de Joan est située dans un petit quartier résidentiel de Monells, très calme. Elle est spacieuse et très bien équipée. Les échanges avec notre hôte sont faciles. Nous avons passé un tres bon sejour et avons pu visiter cette belle Costa Brava !

Ein Aufenthalt ganz nach unserem Geschmack

Unser diesjähriger Sommerurlaub führte uns nach Monells, in ein wunderschönes Haus mit kleinem Garten und Wirlpool. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz für 4 Personen, es könnten gut 5 mitfahren, ist großzügig ausgestattet und hält bei Hitze ein luftiges schattiges Innenleben bereit. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und agiert außerst unkompliziert. Man hätte ihn jederzeit anrufen können bei Problemen, die aber gar nicht auftraten. Wir verbrachten mit unseren schon großen Kindern eine wunderschöne Zeit am Rande eines malerischen mittelalterlichen Dörfchens. Auch wenn der Ort keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bietet, ist man durch viele Supermärkte in der näheren Umgebebung bestens versorgt.

Una casa maravillosa para descansar y desconectar

Tuvimos una experiencia genial en la casa, está súper bien equipada, todo lo que necesitas para hacer vida en ella. El jardín y el porche son una fantasía y el jacuzzi exterior (en verano) es maravilla. Mucha privacidad y tranquilidad alrededor. Camas cómodas, cocina y baño prácticos y todo limpio. Joan (el anfitrión) se comunicó muy rápida y claramente y fue muy amable en el día de la llegada. La casa es más amplia de lo que parece en las fotos, el jardín es bastante grande. Ideal para desconectar, hacer algo de turismo por el Baix Empordà y sobre todo disfrutar de leer tumbado en la hamaca a la sombra de un árbol. 10/10
