The studio apartment is inside a charming traditional historical villa in Sicily, on 9 acres on the protected Nature Reserve Monte Cofano. The Studio has been recently renovated and has its own independent area:
Old farms and villas with typical inner courtyards known as “baglio” are scattered across the area, testifying to its old agricultural roots. There is an ancient firewood furnace to make bread and cook traditional Sicilian meals. The Studio offers sea view, and has its own independent entrance. The geographical location of Baglio delle Gazze makes it an ideal starting point for day trips to numerous places of interest in western Sicily.

What a little paradise

We rented the small studio but we were extremely lucky to get upgraded to the villa. What a gorgeous place! The villa is decorated with a beautiful mix of Indian, Maroccan and vintage, making it a very cozy and romantic place. The garden is a lush paradise. On the back the mountain Cofano, and in front the sea, with view of the islands and the sunset. If I have to name one small downside its that the wifi is weak. But then, do you really need it here?

The farmhouse we rented was more than we expected.

It is a beautiful restored property in a dramatic and peaceful landscape. The garden and views spectacular and we loved the outdoor kitchen and decoration. Very romantic. The housekeeper and her husband were so helpful and friendly too, super people. The sea in cornino was incredibly fresh and clear, stunning sunsets and walks. Car recommended to drive to local town for supplies and to explore the surrounding areas. Highly reccommend this stay.

Piccolissima ma patio e vista stupendi

L intero baglio è una struttura molto ampia, composta da vari spazi e arredata con gusto. Tra questi, la casetta monolocale è davvero molto piccola ma offre una splendida vista sul mare e un comodo patio esterno, ai piedi del meraviglioso Monte Cofano. Nelle giornate più calde, l'assenza di climatizzatori può rendere la permanenza complessa. Per fortuna il mare è a due passi e la posizione è abbastanza ventilata.
