I like this place. I’ve been coming here for 35 years. you need quality control after the rooms are cleaned up. You need someone to go around inspect them. I mean, they know when the lightbulbs out when they’re missing pillows toasters I can remember when it was a lot better than this. But still, I like the place I come down every year sometimes twice I know you’re trying, but after a year you should have a handle on it. It’s the same thing every year I’m not complaining you asked me a question. I’m giving you the answer.

At check in on Friday we were told that we would have to move to the room next to us on sat. for some odd reason. the room next to us was vacant all day, so we could of just checked in to that room on Friday instead of moving all of our stuff Saturday. The rooms were very spacious but the bed was hard as a rock. I would not use this resort again.

Checked In not only was the pool under construction but they’re renovating the hotel. And I was told that we were moving rooms in the middle of our stay. Prior to moving rooms and check out; I informed front Desk that I would be checking out the following day verse staying. Two different front desk(night before check out and morning of checking out) personnel stated I would be checked out and refunded for the night I didn’t stay. I then called to inform Expedia they stated they had to call hotel to confirm that I checked out early in order to process refund; they were having issues with reaching hotel. so I provided check out receipt with clerks information and hotels’ accurate phone number. After 3days I got notification saying I wouldn’t get a refund. I will be contacting my legal team on this matter.

Great Place to Stay

The resort is under renovation, but that did not interfere with our stay one bit. Our unit was clean and the view was wonderful. I would highly recommend this resort. The beach was uncrowded in comparison with the resorts around it and thus was the cleanest beach we saw on our beach walks. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating.

The property had a major renovation project going on since January. There was no notice of this. The men drilled, banged & welded from 8-6 everyday. Definitely not relaxing. It’s a shame too because the property is very nice & the staff are wonderful

Do not stay here!

Photos do not accurately represent the property. Checked in to find 1st room dirty and unmade. Returned to front desk, sent me to 2nd room which was worse than the first. Returned to front desk. She radioed another employee to check if a room was clean before she sent me again. He said it was. My wife and I entered the room to find stains on the pillow cases. Including blood. Room smelled. We checked out. To the front desk staff person 's credit she refunded our full 4 nights stay.

HBR is an older timeshare complex, and is as clean and safe as anyone could want. The private beach is amazing and the pool was great. They have a strict security policy that requires all guests and owners to wear rubber wrist bands, and in today’s world I really appreciated that. The location is perfect, close to great restaurants and shopping. I will definitely stay again, and actually wouldn’t even consider looking anywhere else.

Lg space; poor layout & very poor air conditioner

Large one bedroom condo with horrible layout. Limited seating at dining table and living room area. The toilet and tub area was so tiny that entry door brushed toilet when opened/closed. However, there was a large separate bathroom sink area. Tiny kitchen area as a part of the living room with very limited counter space. No dishwasher, even though lots of open space to accommodate a larger kitchen. Two large closets with full length mirror fronts. Back screened porch opened directly into concrete multi-level parking garage. No discernible washer/dryer facilities available in the complex. Pool towels were available.

The room was very clean and homey with a Florida room. We loved that you could exit the Florida room to immediate access to the pool and to the white sandy private beach. The location of the property allowed you access to anything you could want within walking distance.

We enjoyed the room and amenities. Having the beach so close was amazing. The grounds were well kept. My only complaint would be the top cover on the bed was starched beyond comfort. Otherwise it was a perfect vacation
