The stay was horrible! I did not get the room the I requested which was requested through hotels.com and I also requested through a chat option as well. The room was very unsanitary to me. I honestly did not want to sit in the toilet. The sink looked like they let a 2 year old install it. The TV had one channel. I was told at check in to jist call if I had any problems which was impossible because the phone beside the nonworking TV also did not work. I attempted to call the hotel from myself cellphone but it rang so long it just disconnected. I had actually tried to call this property the week before just to confirm the reservation and the needs for the type of room and over a week span was never able to make contact. I contacted Day Inn and they were not able to contact the actual property either but confirmed that a stand alone shower. Again this did not happen either. This hotel needs severe help and hotel.com needs to remove it as one of it options for traveling. This is the second time I have had a bad experience with a Days Inn and it will also be the last !!! I’m done with Days Inn

Staff was not available at the desk for 10-15 minutes of check in and check out. The room had permanent stains on the bedding as well as in the bathroom. The shower did not appear clean. The window treatment did not include shades or curtains so the parking lot lights were shining into our room throughout the night. Also not allowing for any privacy.

While we knew this was a budget hotel and we were only staying for a night with our dogs, it was clear the property hasn’t been properly taken care of. We were given a room that looked like the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in years. Stains on the walls and in the shower. We asked for another room and while slightly less stains were present, there was a certain odor to the room. We didn’t dare shower there. The hallways all smelled like weed, but I guess that’s Michigan now and better than cigarette smoke. I was shocked how bad the hotel was for how nice the area around it was. We stay in several budget hotels when we take quick trips with our dogs but we won’t be staying here again.

The beds were super comfy. My only complaint was there was a banquet hall or event centre right beside our room so the music thumping was intense and although we couldn’t get to sleep early like we had planned it did stop by 11pm but beware if travelling with kids

Stay Away

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. The place was quiet until about midnight, after that, it was like a frat party. The marijuana smoke in the hallways was so thick I had to put a towel under my door to keep it from coming into the room. The walls were so thin I could hear my neighbors telephone conversation, all night television, and bathroom breaks. The place is dated and dark. Staff was friendly and tried to accommodate, however, you could tell they were used to the clientele of this establishment. STAY AWAY! Especially if you’re trying to get a decent nights rest.
