I had an apartment with a kitchenette for 1 week at the Esplanade. Since I didn't have a car, it was convenient--only about 3 blocks from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of blocks from the central pedestrian zone. The property itself was attractive with a pleasant breakfast area and a nice enclosed central courtyard. The staff was also quite friendly and attentive. The sauna was a very nice, unexpected benefit at the end of tiring days. An excellent option in central Dortmund!

Staff good people. But bathroom toilet separate from shower very uncomfortable never seen anything like that before. In three days never came to the room to clean at all. Terrible air conditioning. Staff could not help me with the airconditioning since there is 1 remote for all air conditioning in the entire hotel.
