The Lima Central Old City two bedroom apartment is a great choice for up to 4 people, with optimal occupancy for 3 people. This apartment is located in the Old City of Dubrovnik.
In the apartment you will find 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and 1 living room. One bedroom features double bed and another one single. Living room with sofa and flat TV is connected to the fully equipped kitchen.
It is in walking distance of all major monuments and sightseeing, bus station on Pile Gate and in the area there are many stores, bars and restaurants.


The Old town of Dubrovnik is the most known and desirable destination in Dubrovnik. In the past, Old City became an important force in the whole Mediterranean after the 13th century. Although significantly destroyed by the earthquake of 1667, Dubrovnik managed to keep and preserve its Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces, and fountains.Today inside the Walls you have almost everything that you might need: cultural sights, cinemas, galleries theaters, lots of cafes, and restaurants.
During the day it is pretty much crowded with tourists and domestic people, and music from bars and restaurants during the night is not the first option for those who are seeking peace and a quiet place to stay. Despite that Old Town of Dubrovnik offers liveliness and charm that you cannot find in other parts of Dubrovnik.
Stradun, the main street in Old City is only 300 m long but offers the most famous sights as you walk along the way. Onofrio's Fountain, the Franciscan Monastery, the Sponza Palace, Orlando's Column, the Rector's Palace, the Dubrovnik Cathedral and Treasury, the Church of St. Vlaho, Synagogue, Marin Držić House, Ethnographic Museum Rupe, Aquarium...
The most impressive sight is well preserved, City Walls. Only 2 km long and 25 m high used to be protected in the past. The most important and well-preserved 5 fortresses give a unique shape to this Old town. Those are Fort of Minčeta, Revelin, Bokar, St. John, and outside Lovrjenac.
Traffic is forbidden inside the Walls and parking is almost mission impossible in case you decide to stay as much as closer to the Old City...

For a 3 star I’d not stay here again! It was in old town and that was nice but the apartment was not properly outfitted such as there was coffee but no filter, the lights over the sink in bathroom did not work, the place smelled and was not really clean. For the price, I’d go some other place!

Based in the Old Town, a 2 bedroom apartment with a double bed in one room and a single bed in the other. A generally well set up apartment with most modern appliances available, (fridge/freezer, cooker, washing machine, television, a shower, aircon, a router providing good Wi-Fi etc). Basics such as towels, washing up liquid, toilet rolls, utensils, plates, pans etc were all provided. The apartment is on the 4th floor and there is no lift. If you have a lot of luggage you might want to give this apartment a miss. The room is fairly dark with shutters on one of the kitchen windows and on the window in the double bedroom (no window in the single bedroom); there is no mechanism for opening the shutters. Within the apartment noise carries but only within the apartment. Having a washing machine can be useful but there was nowhere to sensibly dry clothes. All communications were handled via WhatsApp and Text, there is a Keybox on the door the code to it being provided; there were two keys (one set) one for the downstairs door and one for the apartment. You really need to keep together throughout your visit for entry/exit purposes; it's a long way down and then a long way back up again to let someone in. The old town itself is fantastic with lots of things to see and numerous fantastic restaurants, but you can look these up elsewhere.

Great location

Location is the best part of the stay...unit had a few issues....broken bathroom door handle...only one and a half rolls of toilet paper...had to go out and buy extra...lots of stairs to climb as unit is at the top which was a bit tough for us as we are seniors...on the positive side the unit is very nice and the check in was quite simple

Wonderful location for exploring Old Town Dubrovnik!

We appreciated that this property was only 5 streets up the Placa from Pile Gate, and just past a few shops to the door of the building. However, the flat is up 3 flights of stairs, which I wasn’t expecting. We knew there were stairs - but not aware of 3 flights. This made it more difficult for my mother-in-law to enjoy. But that said, we enjoyed our stay very much. Simple accommodation, but all one needs - and in an excellent location of such a gorgeous old city.

Great location

The stay was wonderful and we enjoyed being within the walls. There are several flights of stairs to get to the apartment and I can't remember if that was called out in the description or not. It would have been nice if the place had and iron and ironing board. I had to go back to the property managers location to pick up and return the iron. I also recommend that they add one or two ice trays for those like me that like ice in their drinks. Side note, there is no glass in the windows between the two bedrooms, so just be aware if you're traveling with someone using the 2nd room, they'll be able to hear anything going on in either room. Also, DO NOT try and use American Express to pay for your stay. Most of Croatia does not take AE and my reservation was cancelled because I used AE and didn't know it was cancelled until about two weeks before I arrived. I was able to rebook it using a Mastercard, but almost missed out because I originally did not see the note from VRBO because I was already traveling.
