It's cheap, was clean enough, but worn. But walls paper thin and there was no hot water. Cold shower at 4.30 to get to Waverley. Even for a value price, expect hot water.

Over priced for the type of room and very basic. No tea/coffee in room. Shower and loo area was very small and shower was difficult to get right heat wise, most mornings it was a Luke warm shower. Positive was a great view of the castle.

Room was clean and a good night sleep was had. Staff were pleasant. Accommodation basic as youd expect but everything worked as it should. Only issue was with gaining entry as had to wait over 5 mins to get access to the property as buzzer wasnt working. Apart from that it was as expected. Thank you 😊

Pretty much what it says on the tin. The room and bathroom was pretty small but as I was only one person it didn't bother me at all. I do think the floor and the sides/ back of the bed could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly. But can't complain to much with it being so central

Walls are very thin so a lot of noise was heard late at night and early morning so sleep was hard. Its a good location for being in the middle of town though so if youre a heavy sleeper it wouldnt be too bad

The hotel was difficult to contact, no response to my messages. Not much support or help offered to reach a solution to our situation. The room itself was very cramped, I’ve seen larger bathrooms in airplanes but I guess it’s a budget hotel. Also the heaters didn’t work and it’s winter.
