From what I observed this has to be one of the best lodging options in Crescent City. While not the newest, the rooms seemed clean and they are very spacious. They have a free breakfast and coin laundry which I wasnt expecting but was grateful for. Walking distance to the nearby lighthouse and pier as well (don't miss these).

Nice hotel near the Redwoods

Nice hotel, great location when visiting the Redwoods. The walls were a bit thin, so a sound machine would be a great addition. Large room, nicely furnished.
