Romantic Chalet in Osco, Leventina, is an authentic mountain chalet in the Leventina Valley, where every detail tells a story.

Upon entering, one is welcomed into a bright living room, with light wood-panelled walls that enhance the warm atmosphere. The large cream-coloured sofa invites you to snuggle up between cushions and soft blankets, ideal for relaxing in front of the television or enjoying the view of the mountain landscape from the large window. A wood-burning stove completes the room, ready to warm the winter evenings with its enveloping warmth.

Next to the living room, the kitchen is simple and functional: natural wood cabinets combine with a spacious worktop and a full complement of appliances to prepare homemade breakfasts, lunches and dinners, to be enjoyed on the 4-person table next to the living room.

Going downstairs, we find the two bedrooms, each with a simple, rustic style. The master bedroom is furnished with a cosy bed, while the ceiling with exposed wooden beams gives a sense of protection and warmth. A small window framed by delicate curtains allows views of the outside, letting in the morning light. The second bedroom offers two single beds, perfect for families or friends, with light blankets and minimalist furnishings making the room spacious.

The bathroom is functional and well-maintained, equipped with a modern shower and the light-coloured tiles create a fresh, clean environment. The bathroom is also equipped with a private washing machine.

Outside, the Romantic Chalet is framed by a small private garden, perfect for relaxing outdoors on sunny days. A romantic touch is provided by the wooden heart hanging on the outside wall, which adds character and pays homage to the love of this unique place.

Quality bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided.

We also leave a gift basket with the necessities for your breakfast.

The flat has a private parking space outside.

All commercial activity is forbidden inside the flat.

Osco is a picturesque village in the Leventina Valley where time seems to have stood still amidst typical houses made of wood and stone, the washhouse, and the Municipal House.

Here it feels like being high up in the mountains, even though it is only 40 minutes from the nearest town, Bellinzona.

Faido, the largest municipality in the Leventina region, can be reached in 13 minutes by car: here you will find 3 supermarkets, a famous bakery that bakes typical products, 2 pharmacies, a butcher\'s shop and a dairy selling local products.

Among the most visited natural landscapes in the area are the marvellous Piumogna waterfalls, very popular with tourists in summer.

For mountain lovers, there are many trekking routes to the peaks of Pizzo Pettine, Pizzo Molare, Pizzo Forno and Carì, famous for its popular ski area in winter, which can be reached in 15 minutes.

Chironico, an important destination for climbers from all over Europe, is 25 minutes away: it is here that many sportspeople come to boulder in the Boulder Area created thousands of years ago.



How to get there:

By car, either from the south (Bellinzona) or the north (Erstfeld) on the A2 motorway, take exit 43 - Faido towards Faido and set your GPS: you will reach the flat in 15 minutes.

By train, from Lugano or Bellinzona take the train S10 towards Airolo for 7 stops and get off at ‘Faido’. From here take bus No. 118 direction ‘Osco, Paese’ for 8 stops and get off at ‘Osco, Paese’ from here with a walk of about 20 minutes you will be in front of the Chalet.
