I'm not sure how this motel is rated 7.8 The top of the mattress was about 14-18 inches off the floor. It was a mattress on about an 8" pedestal. I requested a handicap accessible room with a walk in shower because I have trouble stepping over a tub. We could feel the individual springs on the mattress. First floor room, no privacy curtain on the window just louvered blinds. Staff check in was fine.

Might be an obscure event but my room was a few feet from the elevator so there was constant traffic while trying to sleep. Clean rooms and courteous staff, just a bad room location by chance is all.
