Avoid, avoid, avoid.
I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Europe and Asia and this was one of the most disappointing.
1- the shower only produces extremely hot OR cold water. I could hear the machine turning on and off to heat the water. When it was on, the water was scalding hot. When the machine was off, it was very cold. No in between at all. My two young daughters couldn’t take a shower during our stay because of this.
2- the place is not easy to find. It’s not marker properly on google maps. There are both red and blue street numbers on every building. I found out afterwards you need to use the blue numbers.
3- the keys are difficult to use. It took me ten minutes of fiddling around to open the last door. When leaving we got locked in by the middle door. Luckily another guest helped us as she had to get help from someone off the street a day earlier (so it wasn’t just me!)
4- there is no one to greet you. I had to go to a different location to pick up the keys (Keesy). That would only be a minor inconvenience if everything was easy to find or normal for N. Americans.
5- the kitchen was well stocked except for a lack or bottle opener. I’m on vacation yet I was opening my beer like I was camping!
6- there was a constant smell that reminded me of a gas leak. Not pleasant.
7- the place needs a renovation badly.
But the location is fantastic so people will probably continue to rent it.
