This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. There was cool art and sculptures on every floor and it has a ton of style. It is immaculately clean and very quiet. The bathroom was the biggest and cleanest of all the other places I stayed in Europe. The owners were friendly, helpful and professional. There was a tasty, local, free breakfast in a small room on the first floor and a cool patio on the roof. It is right by the Piazza del Mercato Centrale and all of the museums and sights are within easy walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan on staying there the next time I am in Florence!

We stayed one night at Hotel Collodi in Florence, and it was a solid choice. It’s super close to most attractions, so we walked everywhere. The first-floor room was clean, spacious, and comfy, with a nice bed and a reliable shower. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. It’s a cozy spot that made my quick trip great. We would stay again.

A great place to stay in florence

The rooms were great with lot of space. I really liked the hotel as it has paintings and sculptures all over and it gives you a great feeling as you go through it. The breakfast was nice and gives a great start to the morning. The staff was very helpful when we needed for store our luggage after checkout and even called a taxi for us to the station. I carry wonderful memories of my stay here in florence.

Fantastic location. Clean rooms and hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast option. Only complaint was that the ac would make a clicking sound and would sometimes not work. This would happen late at night so could not bring it up to staff but it happened every night.

Our experience at Hotel Collodi was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, Nadine and Giovanni made us feel genuinely welcome — warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The room was cozy, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and all the services provided worked perfectly. The hotel’s location is fantastic, too — within walking distance of many of Florence’s best spots. If you’re looking for a place that feels both authentic and cared for with heart, this is it. The location was excellent. Walking distance to train station and all other attractions. Although room is a little small it’s what we expected. Very clean. Very nice breakfast included in price. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
