The hotel is very charming and quaint. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially with arranging taxis. The morning breakfast was delicious! The only negative thing, our room was very small. It was a good experience, glad we stayed there.

Great location for central Florence

Boutique hotel with lots of history. Very central to central Florence for shopping and dining. Short hike from train station. Hotel has all the old Italian charm. Twin bed room very small. Delicious breakfast and plenty of coffee. Hotel staff full of smiles and hospitality!

Florence dream

The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Check in was quick with no confusion. I arrived quite early and was able to put my luggage in my room right away as it was empty. The location is right in the heart of the old town with quick walking access to everything. I would certainly return.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. We had a larger room that was perfect for our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our AC worked perfectly which was huge as the temperature was around 32C. The property is in an older building so there is only one lift that goes to the first floor. This wasn’t a problem for us but may be for folks with some mobility issues

Highly recommended and excellent service!

Little hotel in the heart of Florence. The hosts were lovely. Location was great; 10 mins walk from the main station and square but it was also quiet. There are a couple of convenience stores nearby and the central market is less than 5mins walk. We had an issue with the shower head in our room which we reported and it got fixed pretty quickly! So kudos for the swift response and excellent customer service! Breakfast was generous and had a variety of options for everyone. We are going to recommend Hotel Collodi to everyone we know and next time we come to Florence, this is where we'll stay.

A great place to stay in Florence

We stayed at Hotel Collodi for four nights. We really enjoyed the hotel. The room was clean and everything was working as expected. Air conditioning ok (very important for a visit in August) clean and comfy. The breakfast has everything you need to start the day. Some ham, cheese and boiled eggs. Yoghurt, cereal, fruit, coffee and juice, what else do you need! The staff was friendly at all times. Always with a smile on the face. Finally, the location is great. Close to the train station and all the major touristic points but far enough to have a quiet night.

Nice atmospheric hotel. Had the tone of Roman history with a painted ceiling in our room and some exposed brick. Breakfast was ok. Towels were unusual ,- very thin but still absorbent. Good location. And accommodating staff.
