The Hotel Jane is a gem of a hotel. The rooms were comfortable and all of the staff were welcoming and professional. The safe was a little tricky, but once I figured it out, it was easy. The breakfast was delicious. Lots of variety and the coffee was tasty. Definitely worth staying for. Later on in the day, you can get a drink or snack in the breakfast area. Hotel Jane is easy walking distance to bus stops and all the taxi/Ubers are familiar with the hotel because it is so well liked. I absolutely will stay here the next time I am in Florence.
These are "hooks" for you to hang your coat or purse on. Very cute.

The staff was awesome! Having parking available was a necessity. The room was clean though the AC could have been a little better. The breakfast was great and we were only a 20 minute walk to the historic center. Great place!

Clean and comfortable

Hotel Jane was very clean and comfortable. Every person I encountered was pleasant and helpful. Traveling alone, I felt very safe here. It felt like a 25 minute walk to get anywhere from there but a taxi would also come when they called one for me. I would stay here again.

Valerie the desk clerk was wonderful! So accommodating and gave great information on things to do around Florence. Easy walk to downtown area of Florence. Breakfast was good, hotel was clean and staff was friendly.

Front desk staff was very helpful, storing our luggage for the day and calling a taxi to take us to the train station. We had a free bottle of Chianti reserve waiting for us in our room after check in. Those were the good points. Room was very tiny and you could hear everything going on in the hallway and the rooms above and next door. Also for us it was a 30-40 minute walk to any of the sites we wanted to see (but that was poor research on my part).

Hotel Jane was perfect for our night in Florence! The front desk staff were all so welcoming and helpful with all of our questions. The room was a bit compact, but had everything that we needed for an ideal stay! I would definitely recommend.

The room was okay for the price. Did have air conditioning. However the night staff was exceptionally rude. My friend went outside to have a phone call so as not to disturb anyone at night. When she came in, she realized she forgot her headphone charging case outside, and so went to retrieve it. Upon coming downstairs, the man at the desk began loudly berating her and telling her she couldnt go back outside to have loud phone calls. She repeatedly tried to make it clear she had just forgotten something, but the man tried to PHYSICALLY stop her from going outside. Once she had managed to retrieve her case, the man finally understood but offered no apology. This was wildly inappropriate behavior from the staff member. The morning/afternoon staff was polite, but this incident was so beyond the pale I cannot give more than 1 star for staff.

I loved Hotel Jane. It was a lovely and quaint hotel. The breakfast was lovely and the staff very friendly. A great experience and help us to feel right at home in Florence. It is a pleasant 20 minute walk into the main sightseeing areas of Florence. In a quiet area that avoids the hustle and bustle.
