We really enjoyed the apartment and the neighborhood. The apartment was just as described. We especially enjoyed the large balcony overlooking the Arno.
We appreciated the well appointed kitchen so we could cook some of our meals and enjoy them on the balcony.

This is a great place to stay in Florence. The location is at a reasonable removed from the bustling crowd. There are great restaurants a short walking distance. The host provides a lot of information about sightseeing and moving around the city. The patio is lovely with a fantastic view of countryside. Would stay here again.

Great stay, only wished we knew it was not river front per se. Busy thorough fare directly in front with construction going on. Not a game changer still really enjoyed view and location. Traveled with another couple all in our 50’s and 60’s and this property was well located for us to walk and a block from a convenient bus line that went directly to the city center (easy) This property’s description was very accurate along with all the reviews I read. Our host Piero was very nice, helpful and provided amazing insights to Florence. The pizza place Don Fefe about 300 ft from the apartment was probably the best pizza I we ever had.

Cet appartement est assez proche du centre ville, juste en dehors de la ZTL.Il est très spacieux, décoré avec goût. Un grand espace de vie d'un côté et un espace nuit de l'autre et une belle terrasse.Côté chambres, c'est très calme. Côté salon, on entend légèrement les bruits de la circulation (5e étage).Un parking est à disposition, il y a un ascenseur et les commerces sont à 5-10 minutes à pieds dont un très bon marchand de glaces.2 lignes de bus pour vous rendre dans le centre de Florence, c'était pour nous le meilleur moyen de transport (pensez à télécharger l'application des transports de Toscane pour vos tickets, c'est le plus simple).Florence est une magnifique ville, même si le mois d'aout n'est pas la meilleure période pour les visites car il fait très chaud.Piero est très bien organisé, il vous transmettra toutes les informations utiles avant et pendant votre séjour.Il n'hésitera pas à vous faire des suggestions en fonction du temps.Pour les francophones, Piero parle anglais mais communique par messagerie en français, ce qui est très appréciable.Si l'envie est de visiter Florence et ses environs, cet appartement est vivement recommandé.

Penthouse Beauty

Beautiful view of the river, 20 min walk to town, very clean, well kept and stocked with everything you need and more. Piero is a wonderful host and very helpful in every way. He communicated well from the beginning giving us all kinds of recommendations for places to visit including links to the websites. Super helpful in planning our trip to visit my daughter. He also helped us in a last minute bind with the taxi reservation to the airport. I highly recommended staying here.

Great Florence

Close to a couple of great restaurants and a grocery and pharmacy. Quick cab or bus to the center of the action! Host was very responsive and helpful! When back in Florence we will stay here again!

Florence Apartment with Terrace

Our stay was very enjoyable. The apartment was very clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The large terrace has a beautiful view. The owner was very helpful with tips on the area and transportation, etc. I only wish we had been a 5-10 minute closer walk to the Duomo area but the trade offs were worth the extra exercise. We would definitely recommend this apartment!

Appartement confortable avec tout le nécessaire. Piero est à notre écoute et est très réactif lorsqu'on lui demande quelque chose. L'appartement est à 30 minute à pied du centre ville. Des bus sont à proximité. Il y a aussi des magasins proches ce qui est bien pratique !

Wonderful Accommodations

This is a spacious two bedroom two bathroom apartment on outskirts of city center. Clean and bright. Piero is an excellent and accommodating host. He met us at the apartment to check in which was very convenient. One bedroom has attached full bathroom and second bedroom is down the hall from a second full bathroom. Living area has a pull out sofa bed. Bedrooms were quiet for sleeping. The apartment has everything you need, fully stocked kitchen with pots pans etc., American coffee maker, umbrellas, dishwasher, washing machine, smart tv, towels, bedding. Comfortable beds and a fabulous large patio if you like being outside. This patio is unusually large for the area of Florence and overlooks the Arno. There is a parking spot under the building in a garage. You will need a very compact car to navigate the parking spot which is very tight. We used the car to explore other towns in the area. We took a taxi to the city center, rather than use the car because there is almost no parking (or expensive paid parking) in the city. A taxi to the Ponte Vecchio bridge from the apartment is roughly 16€ one way and it’s easy to call a taxi (within minutes) with the taxi app Piero recommends. We would stay here again. We are 2 women age 55-60 and felt safe. Apartment building has a lift. We were here in December 2023 and were so happy to find it decorated with a Christmas tree. Thanks Piero!

Everything was excellent.

Piero, owner is amazing, so responsive and helpful. Spotless apartment, very roomy. Very close less than 100 feet from 2 major bus stops.Take a bus to all tourist spots in 15 minutes or so. Walk in 20 to 25 minutes. Book this vrbo if you are going to Florence!

Fantastic all around

For location and comfort you cannot do better than Piero lovely apartment. It is a very nice walk to the city center, but there are plenty of great places to eat very close to the apartment as well. We are a family of four adults and had plenty of room to spread out. The terrace overlooking the river was the best. Piero is a wonderful host, with plenty of suggestions. We had an absolutely wonderful time!

Wir waren begeistert von der Wohnung die mit viel Liebe eingerichtet war und sehr sauber. Es hat alles toll geklappt mit Marcello der uns empfangen hat bis hin zu den beschriebenen Möglichkeiten in der Umgebung wie das Molo 5, LaFefe (hat wirklich die beste Pizza ever) zum Coop und den vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten dieser unglaublich schönen Stadt. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Wohnung und die tollen Zeit die wir dort verbringen durften. Wir kommen sicher wieder :)

The apartment was great. It was well equipped and spacious. We were able to do our laundry. The only thing that is a little difficult is it is about a 30 minute walk to the city center. Other than that it was wonderful!!

The host, Piero, did a great job of communicating with us and gave us all the information we needed to have a great stay and enjoy the city. The place was clean and bright. The view from the balcony is wonderful and being across from the river was fun. I would stay here again.

Perfect for a trip to the city center

The reception and check-in was very good. We were shown the entire apartment and pointed out special features. The parking in the parking garage was good even for larger models. There were tips for nearby restaurants, supermarkets and bus connections to attractions. Ultimately, however, you can walk to the center (about 15-20 minutes). The path always leads along the river, so you can not get lost. The apartment was clean and well equipped (gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker). The basics for cooking were available (vinegar, oil, sugar, salt, spices, coffee filter, coffee powder, etc.). We felt comfortable. Only the heating was annoying, because the fan and rattling in the bedroom a little annoying. Communication with the owner via Whatsapp was good and timely. All in all, it was a great stay and if we ever come back to Florence we will certainly consider this accommodation again.

Hervorragende Wohnung mit einer wunderbaren Terrasse

Eine sehr gemütliche und großzügige Wohnung, mit dem Blick auf Arno und schön umgebende Landschaft von Florenz. Gute Busverbindung zum historischen Zentrum, was auch zu Fuß angenehm zu erreichen ist. Wir sind mit dem Auto gereist, daher war uns die Lage mit dem Tiefgaragenparkplatz wichtig. Der Gastgeber Piero stand uns mit interessanten Tipps und Empfehlungen stets zur Verfügung. Der Empfang, sowie Abreise war recht angenehm und unkompliziert. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft - Danke!

Wonderful apartment in great location!

Piero was wonderful to work with and responded immmediately to questions and requests. Terrific location with gorgeous views of the Arno River and surrounding Tuscan hills. An easy 20 min walk to the heart of Florence. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, really a superb experience in stunning Florence!
