Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We stayed at the Art Deco Beach Bungalows in 2017 and had a very pleasant experience, which is why we decided to book here again. Things have apparently changed. We were granted early check-in, which was nice and the bungalow did appear clean upon arrival. A parking space was included, which was also convenient. I noticed that the rental appeared a bit run down, but it wasn’t enough to discourage me. However, when I opened the closet to look for the beach chairs, I discovered a dead roach on the floor. In fairness, it may have gotten in after housekeeping left, but it immediately made me uneasy and I was afraid to even leave my suitcase out. The outdoor area seemed fairly well-kept, but mason jars containing an unknown substance were sitting outside of one of the units. It almost seemed as if some of these units had people actually living in them now. The bed was not comfortable, you could feel the springs in the mattress. The final straw, however, was music blasting nearby until 4:30 a.m. While this is no fault of bungalow ownership or management, hearing bass thumping all night long was unacceptable. We gave up on sleep at 4:45 a.m. and as soon as we got ready, we walked to the large, nearby resort and checked in there for the remainder of our trip. I did not bother to contact the property management company because at this point, I didn’t feel comfortable or safe there and there was nothing that would’ve made me change my mind.

We spent rhree days withot being able to work. There was no internet. We requested a solution and there was no response whatsoever. Alway a polite and empty answer.

Great location

This was our second time staying in the bungalows. Its a good location near the beach and boardwalk. We chose this one because it had a stove. We only used it once in the entire week so I don't feel it was worth the extra price. The frustrating on the parking issue was upsetting. Several weeks prior and right up to check in day I would get a message that said parking was not available at the bungalow. It took alot of energy to get it settled. It should state in the listing that parking space #5 is reserved for the rental. Once we arrived the management and owner were very accommodating. Thw 9nly cons of the unit is there is no where to hang clothes ir keep suitcases off the floor other than the kitchen table or sofa The unit was very clean and well appointed. Bring toilet paper as you only get one roll for a week! .

It took 1 1/2 hours to gain access to our unit and we didn't get the unit number. The bathroom outlet didn't work the TV in the bedroom didn't work. The beach chairs are 10+ years old. The ice machine has n the fridge didn't work. Had to call for trash disposal. If you are staying longer than 5 days you should make sure your towel and toilet paper is ordered ahead of time. Other than that is inexpensive so you get what you pay for.

Great location. Just steps to the beach. Beach towel, chairs , full kitchen and parking space all provided. Clean and just enough space for 2 to 3 people or 2 adults and 2 children. I would have no hesitation choosing this location again.
