Everything was excellent with the apartment! Awesome location along the intracoastal waterway, only 1 block to the beach, and conveniently located within walking distance of several great restaurants. Monica was very responsive when we had questions, and the apartment was very clean and well-outfitted including beach chairs and umbrella. The outside space at the Aloha resort had tons of chairs and tables, and nice location looking out on the water and all the boats going by.

The unit is cozy and welcoming, but a little TLC would improve it, as would making sure that the kitchen and bathroom are supplied with the stuff you need (foil and kitchen towels in the kitchen, tissue and towel rods that don't fall off in the bathroom). Better blinds would make for nether sleeping at night. Still, it's on the Intracoastal and a short walk to beaches, shops, and restaurants, so you'll probably be out and about most of the time.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very clean and comfortable and the location is great. We could sit on our balcony watching the boats go by or take a short walk to the beach. Also, the host was very responsive and followed up to make sure we were comfortable. Overall, a great stay.

Even thought the bathroom is a little dated the views from this property are amazing! It was cool to watch the boats going by. It's cozy and perfect a couple. The bed was super comfy. I hate we didn't get to spend more time at the condo. My ONLY con was when I was trying to get in the property (our flight was delayed and we got in late). It was my fault as far as the mix up on getting in but I tried calling and text to only end up calling VRBO. They did get in touch with the owner but she would not talk to me on the phone b/c of language barrier on her part. That to me is not ok. If you are going to have a rental then be able to communicate. Other than that I would have given it 5 stars. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Quiet, bed was so comfy, living room and kitchen updated. Good communication from Monica. Close to the beach. Location good. The condo offered beach gear. Linens were clean, in good condition and we had plenty.Cons: Much of the condo was filthy. I gave my feedback to Monica and she said she was there the day we left and didn’t see anything that was dirty. As can be seen by the pics, her response is unbelievable. I am also so confused as to how this condo continues to get excellent reviews. If there is an issue with our stays, I usually reach out to the host to give them a chance to correct the issue but the lack of concern on her part forced me to leave a negative review so future travelers know the reality before booking. I am hopeful that Monica just does a thorough cleaning and some repairs and the condo would be fine.

Weekend Stay before Cruise

We had a lovely two night stay before leaving on our cruise. It was peaceful and entertaining watching all the boats go by in the canal from the pier, pool, and windows in the apartment. A short walk to the beach with nice chairs and an umbrella provided by the host. Comfortable bed and furniture. The host responded quickly and accommodated my allergies to fragrance and chemicals. She was also very gracious to let us return to retrieve a left item from the cleaning crew after check out.

We really enjoyed our weekend overlooking the intracoastal waterway. The apartment was cute and clean, the location was perfect- great views of the water and a short walk to the ocean beaches!

We loved everything about it, comfortable, peaceful, well appointed spotless, clean. Only issue was the lockbox would not open on our departure. We had to leave the key inside the door. There was no way to contact the owner. VRBO recommends contact the owner. This site had no owner information and no link on how to reach someone. At 6a, no one else in the unit was awake either. So we have to assume the owner has another key and will find ours inside the door when they open the unit - sorry. This didn’t work.

The apartment was cozy and the grounds well kept. We had a great view of the canal. We would stay at this property again. It was also about a mile walk to the beach which was great as parking is a premium on the water front.

Intracoastal View

Property is right on the intracoastal and was interesting to watch the boats speeding by whilst sunning yourself on the dock. Unit was as described but could do with a little TLC with some of the furnishings as they were little worn and could be easily rectified. Overall unit was clean and comfortable and host kept in touch during our stay.
