Oakland Park Private Suite: Backyard Entry, Office, Bath, and Patio

Welcome to our quiet tropical retreat in Oakland Park — a private two-room guest suite with its own backyard entry, set in a gay-owned, clothing-optional home just minutes from Wilton Manors and Fort Lauderdale Beach.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING — CLOTHING-OPTIONAL HOME

This is a gay, clothing-optional household. Your hosts are usually comfortably nude at home, and you may encounter nudity in shared indoor and outdoor areas. Your suite itself is fully private, so what you wear (or don't) inside is entirely your call. Clothed, partially clothed, and nude guests are all equally welcome — but if the household setting wouldn't be a fit for you, please consider other nearby options so your stay (and ours) is a happy one.

We're new to Vrbo, but not to hosting — we've been welcoming guests to our home since 2022 and have hundreds of five-star reviews to our name.

THE SPACE

You'll enter the suite from our relaxing back patio — no walking through the main house. Both of your rooms look onto the backyard:

• Bedroom with a comfortable queen-sized bed and fresh linens
• Office / sitting room — perfect for remote work, reading, or simply spreading out beyond a single bedroom
• Private full bathroom between the two rooms, with a refreshing shower
• Independent HVAC unit with remote control for the suite, so you can dial in your exact comfort year-round
• Coffee maker, microwave, and small refrigerator in the office, so light meals and morning coffee don't require a trip to the main kitchen
• Private patio off the suite, with seating and an ashtray (smoking is permitted outside the house only)
• High-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi throughout

You can come and go entirely on your own schedule, and have as much privacy as you'd like.

GUEST ACCESS

In addition to your fully private suite and patio, you're welcome to use:

• The shared kitchen if you'd like to do more extensive cooking — cookware, dishes, and cutlery are all provided (the range is inductive; we'll show you which pans to use)
• The common areas to relax or chat with us or other guests
• The backyard with its fountain — a peaceful spot to unwind
• The laundry room (behind the carport, accessed from outside, available 24/7) — washer, dryer, detergent, and dryer sheets all included
• The driveway for parking — large enough for several vehicles, no street parking needed

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

We live in a safe, friendly neighborhood with great neighbors. Oakland Park sits between Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors — close to everything, away from the noise:

• Wilton Drive (one of the most exciting LGBTQ+ nightlife and dining strips in the U.S.) — about 10 minutes
• Fort Lauderdale Beach — about 15 minutes
• Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) — about 15 minutes
• Las Olas Boulevard, Hollywood Beach, the Everglades — all an easy drive

We live in the home and generally keep to ourselves, but we're usually around to help any way we can. Most communication happens by message, and we won't intrude on your privacy — but we're happy to chat, share local recommendations, or just say hello.

A FEW MORE THINGS TO KNOW

• Clothing-optional, again: Hosts are usually nude at home. Please don't book if that would cause you any distress.
• Short stays only: This suite is for short-term vacations — please don't request a stay longer than two weeks.
• We have a cat: A lovely one, but worth noting if you have allergies.
• Smoking: All smoking must be outside the house. The suite's private patio table has an ashtray.
• Refunds for guests who object to the clothing-optional setting on arrival are not available — the policy is disclosed clearly in this listing, so please make sure it's a fit before booking.
