When we got to the property, our reservation was cancelled. I received a notification the previous day to check in, which I did. I received a follow up notification which was a basic welcome and an about the hotel. I didn’t receive any notification that my reservation was cancelled, and needed to find another hotel because Spring Hill was booked. This happened to at least one other person that we met in the lobby.

The location of the property was convenient for walking to shopping and restaurant's at Dania Point. The cleanliness was sub par. The same dirty mess we saw in certain areas of the hotel were still there when we came back a week later. The hotel Room was sub par. Could definitely be cleaner..the floors and couch. The freshner they use for the hallway is so strong. Additionally, I asked one staff if our room would be made up and towels changed since we were staying for two nights. The staff replied yes. After coming back to the hotel after a day outing, the room was not made up nor towels changed only to be told by another staff that they only change the towels upon request and room was not made up.

Our room was on the first floor and the road behind the property had MANY noisy cars with after market additions that created loud explosions when they accelerate. The hot tub was clearly not kept up as it was green with algae. The from desk customer service person, Jeanette, was extremely hospitable and friendly. She is a gem.

I absolutely love this property! The staff is so friendly, the lobby and pool outside are beautiful. The only thing was that the water was getting backed up in the tub when showering. Other than that, i absolutely loved this property. There’s a convenient water/ice machine on every floor. There’s an airport shuttle for free and a cruise port shuttle for $20. The hotel is in walking distance from TJ Max, shopping and restaurants. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when traveling to Ft. Lauderdale.
