I am so sorry it has taken me so long to respond to you. I'm having a tough time adjusting to life after vacation! It must be the cold weather that smacked us in the face when we returned from 85 degrees!

We had a fabulous time! The condo was exactly as we had expected... perfect! The beach was wonderful to look at, sit on and stroll along. The pool was clean and warm... just perfect for our girls. It really was a 'home away from home' for us. I was able to find everything in the kitchen and appreciated all the amenities... especially the washer and dryer. But I can't overlook the full-size fridge with ice maker, dishwasher and plenty of counter space for me to do all that needed to be done.

Guest Comments: We saw dolphins on our first and last days, which was perfect. Someone said they saw manatees no more than 25 feet from the shore on Saturday. (but because we didn't arrive until late Saturday night, we missed seeing them) We found beautiful shells along the beach. We found the bigger ones right outside our door. We truly enjoyed looking at the wonderful shells you had displayed around the condo too.

All in all, we would definitely book with you again next year... but we are planning to be cruising in the Caribbean next year. We have shared our vacation memories with many friends and have told all of them about your beautiful condo. Who knows, one of them may be contacting you!

The location is excellent, and the ocean view is truly unforgettable. Marcia is incredibly attentive—she personally called after my arrival to make sure everything was going well.The white-sand beach is quite wide, so be prepared for a short walk to reach the water. The condo also makes a very convenient base for exploring nearby destinations like Naples and Sanibel Island, and there’s a Publix just a short drive away.

Great stay!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The description-to-reality of the condo was very close. The property manager did a great job of detailing what to expect and what to do during check-in. We really enjoyed the beach, wonderful views from the lanai, and lovers key park (walking distance across the bridge), and proximity to shopping in Naples. Overall, great location with a reasonably quite beach.

Mediocre condo in a really bad location

The 2 stars is an average of 2.5 stars for the condo itself, 2 for the accuracy and rental process and 1 star for the location. Let me start with a positives: the host was courteous, responsive, and was nice enough to call and check the first day if everything was ok and promised to check if late checkout was possible (it wasn't). Digital locks greatly simplified check-in and check-out. The condo was well-stocked with beach accessories: chairs, cart, cooler, toys. The condo was small: beds completely filled the bedrooms, and when sofa was opened there was no space in the living room either. The sunset mentioned in the description is an outright lie - the condo and the beach it's on are facing SSE so you couldn't see the sunset from anywhere in the building or even if you walked down to the very edge of the beach. Renovation is a lie too - everything looked and dilapidated and original to when the condo was built back in the 80s. Most of the things worked but barely: showers sprayed water everywhere, dishwasher didn't open the soap compartment at the right time and left a blob of soap and required second cycle to clean it out, drier didn't work in automatic mode. The locks required multiple tries to open. There was mold in the bathrooms. The management policies are not guest-friendly: when I reached out to the manager a week before the start of the rental about how to get in she demanded that I give excessive personal information about all members of my family (despite payment and deposits having been already processed by VRBO) and forced me to sign a 3 page contract before releasing the access code. The contract contained many provisions not outlined in the listing policies and had a bunch of gotcha fines: for leaving more than 2 loads of dirty laundry (seemed reasonable until I discovered that the washer was the smallest I have ever seen - got filled by just the set of towels), for moving around furniture (had to be moved to open the sofa) and half a dozen of others. As I mentioned by the time we saw the contract the payment became non-refundable. But the worst was the location - the beach is huge it takes almost 10 minutes to get to the closest part of the beach walking over what becomes a swamp after a rain, 20 minutes to the least terrible part of the beach. The beach itself is a mix of sand and sharp broken shells, but it becomes slimy sediment one you get few feet into the water. The water is really murky because of the sediment which

First Family Beach Trip

Despite Hurricane Elsa’s arrival we had a nice family vacation to Fort Myers Beach. The accommodations were comfortable and as advertised. I liked being a bit away from the hustle and bustle of downtown FMB but I do wish there were more dining options within walking distance. The hike out to the waters edge with two toddlers was doable and worth it! We saw dolphins very close to shore both times we ventured out. The pool area offered a lot of shade which was nice for the kids. My family are early risers so I do wish it opened before 9 am but it wasn’t a huge deal. Our host was amazing. Communication was great, check-in and out was easy and she offered great recommendations for dining and activities in the area.

Phenomenal Vacation!

This is probably one of my most favorite vacation we have taken. The condo was clean, beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was right there in the condo. The area is GORGEOUS! Amazing vacation!

My family and I had an amazing time! The condo is located on a huge beach! The water is a 1/4 of a mile out from the condo so the walk is a little long but, hardly worth complaining about. Off to the left side someone had rolled a path through the sand which made it firmer to walk on and much easier. That would be great to have from the Condo out to the water in front. One of the elevators were down, lots of people using the elevator took awhile if you had to use it. We chose to use the stairs most of the time. Being on the 4th floor was just about the maximum height for going up:) I loved having my coffee each morning on the lanai! We visited Fort Myers Beach, Time square 4 times, lots to do there! However, it is super busy and the trolly wasn't going to get us there any easier due to the road construction. So we made sure we left the condo by 9 every morning. Paying for parking was expected minimum we found was $10. Most was $20. If you were to be on the beach there it was packed by 9. That may also have been because it was Spring Break. We ate lunches out and had dinner in at the Condo. Everything had to be purchased. The only items provided were salt, pepper, garlic salt, 2 dryer sheets, and detergent for one load of laundry. I would not suggest using the Publix on the Island it was ridiculously packed and very limited items, most was sold out. Instead I went into Bonita Springs, that one was perfect. Having the washer and dryer was wonderful! We had all of our clothes clean for when we got home, saved a lot of unpacking misery! The rules for leaving the laundry for the cleaning company was a little worrisome. We had to wash the bedding for the boys, because we could only leave 2 loads for them to wash. So before we left we were washing the towels and bedding because the machines are not big enough to put them together. The 9:00 check out was really early and luckily we were able to extend it to 11:00. Shelling was awesome, especially when the tides changed! The Beach cart was very helpful.***One suggestion I would give is for the Condo to have a larger cooler.*** The tiny 6 can cooler was useless for couple, let alone a family of 4, lol! We had to buy a cheap styrofoam cooler to use for the week. A nice one with wheels would make a world of a difference and are not that expensive. Overall, I would definitely recommend this condo!! The beach was wonderful and we loved spending our days on it! Thank you for letting us stay with you!

Dolphins, sun and sand!!!

We loved our stay at Carlos Pointe!!! The beach is huge, plenty of space to set up for the day!!! The dolphins were incredible, we saw them everyday, swimming by and playing!!!! The only downfall was not using enough sunscreen!!! My own fault, but hopefully my sunburn will turn into a great tan!!!!

Best in class and prime location.

Property manager can make or break your vacation. Marcia manages this property and you could consider her a 10! Looking out for your best interest while maintaining her valuable investment condo. I'm not going to describe every detail. Everything is subject to opinions. So just the facts. The accommodations were clean and wonderfully appointed. The view is worthy of a considerable higher priced unit. Which brings me back to Marcia the owner. We're forever a huge fan now! 100% pleased and satisfied!

Holiday getaway

This condo is at the quiet end of Ft. Myers Beach. The pool was nice, the beach was nice. Although the condo is technically beach front, it is probably 150 yards to the beach across the sand. The condo was nice, a little dated, but for what we wanted, to be in Florida with a place to stay, it was good. The property owner is nice and responsive.

Great stay, great condo

Loved our stay at this condo. The property was easy to find, and a good location for us. Xlose enough to activities to be convenient, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Condo was clean, amenities were good. Liked having a washer and dryer in the unit. A couple small wrinkles with things, but property manager helped us out with them. So happy overall amd would stay again without hesitation.

Just what I needed, unit was clean, right on the beach which I wanted. Loved that there was a washer/dryer right in the unit. Also appreciated having beach chairs and a cart to haul back and forth to the beach. We saw Dolphins and Manatees. Except for going to grocery store. This unit had everything I needed.

Lots of sea life experience

Upon arrival, check in super easy . Owner has great communication. Room was good a little out dated but had everything we needed and more . Beach cart , cooler, pool . Just out our door to the Beach we seen dolphins every day, manatee, star fish , horseshoe crab, and of course lots of shells .

Unit had ants in the master bathroom on the counter & also ants on the counter above where the pots & pans are. Invest in sharp knives & quality utensils for cooking. Overall the place was clean, loved the beach & the area.

South side paradise

This property was exactly what we were looking for during our family vacation. The location of the condo was away from all of the north end commotion. That being said, weren’t able to really walk to any shops/restaurants; the closest plaza was about a 27 minute walk, but that didn’t bother us! The beach is huge and not many people were ever on it. We saw starfish, crabs and dolphins almost everyday. Marcia is wonderful, which is a huge bonus!

Super endroit pour des vacances à la plage !!

Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour , environnement merveilleux, les oiseaux, la mer et le temps chaud. Nous y retournerons! La piscine très agréable.
