This property was in a great location so we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. We spent most of our it time at the pool and ate at Cabanas several times and the food was good. Drink prices were also very reasonable for staying in a resort. We also really enjoyed the live music every day. The room was surprisingly large and overlooked the pool/Beach. We would definitely stay here again. Only drawback is it would be nice if they sold drinks or snacks somewhere on the property.

This resort is very expensive is number one on the beach yet we paid for it and went. When we arrived on the beach we learn beach chairs and umbrella were not included or part of the hotel compare to what described online. Cost per day was an additional 50.00. We learn after calling twice cleaning for the rooms are not included in our stay compare to what Expedia disclosed online. The room floors were dirty the whole entire time we stay there we had to keep socks on our feet to avoid taking dirt and sand onto the beds.

If you are expecting a resort, this is not it! I used to love this resort, but they really are more of a condo with restaurant now. No towel service at the pool, no breakfast onsite, no room service, no daily cleaning and no spa. If you expect me to bring towels to the lobby to swap, please do not call yourself a resort; a complete disappointment. Service at the bar and restaurant was lacking. I will not be returning…so sad to see such a great place take such a turn.

The view from the blacony is good from any room. The bed was comfortable and not hard. The mini kitchen functioned fine for our needs. The food and drinks at the pool bar were great! The live music was great!! The karaoke was ok and fun at times..lol. The shower was ok. More water pressure. the is noisy. Great stay for a family of 3!!!

Staying at Diamond Head was like staying in an upscale Spa Resort, The Hotel and staff were excellent BUT there was only 1 elevator. Our room was located on the north side and EVERY time we wanted to do anything we had to walk around the entire perimeter hotel to get to anywhere. The Tiki Hut on the Beach was perfect but was on the North side of property, we had to walk back to the South side then to get to our room we again had to walk to the North Side. Hotel over all 5* Access to restaurants, bar, pool, ocean 2.5*

Great quiet resort! Easy access to the beach and lots of shopping and dining within walking distance. They are still doing some construction and they were down to one elevator which caused some delay but wasn’t terrible. We are looking forward to taking the family back!
