"EL PARCHE" Family Farmhouse

This rustic family farm provides a hands-on farm experience full of peace and tranquility. This peace of heaven located close to the most beautiful beaches in south west Florida offers many close adventures for all ages. From feeding calves to petting goats, chickens and gathering the eggs guests will eat for breakfast. Kids will also enjoy exploring the outdoor playground. Create memorable memories and story times around our fire pit with a delicious smore’s or hot cocoa.
Pets are not allowed inside of the house except if they are inside their kennel. They are allowed in the lanai area “Front porch” and back deck area. They are free to be outside on the porch but not on top of the furniture or sleep on it. They can walk the property without leashes when the chickens are indoors, but pet owners are responsible for clean up after your pet. We also have a large kennel outside where you can let them stay or sleep if you prefer they have more space, it measures 12 'by 10'.
During your stay one of our staff will visit the property from time to time to feed and take care of the animals. If you want a special tour of the property or want to learn about the animals please let us know to organize this tour. Our happiness is that you feel like you are at home.

Fantastic experience, unique property

Angie was fantastic to work with, very good communication. We locked ourselves out one night and she was able to respond immediately and get us in. The property is a bit out of the way, there’s about a mile of driving on a dirt road to get there, but once you’re there, you’re greeted by some adorable cows. Fresh eggs from the farm were available. Very clean house, check in and out was super easy. Unique stay, and if it meets your travel needs, you’ll absolutely enjoy staying here.

Conference Getaway

We visit the area annually for a recurring conference. It’s a special for us to enjoy spending time with our couples friends & relax between conference sessions. This property is amazing & we hope to visit again next year!

Fantastic

Property was exactly as advertised! Angie was extremely helpful! The farm is really cool. My special needs daughter loved petting the cows and goats! Who doesn't like to wake up to the sounds of the roosters in the morning. It was secluded yet close to the city. Will definitely rent again!

Memorial Day weekend with the fam in a beautiful ranch

El parche is a very unique experience if you love animals and nature then highly recommend it. Our family stayed there for a couple of nights. My son took care of the animals, picked up eggs in the morning and enjoyed having s’mores at night. We also drove to sanibel beach both days, it’s quite a drive about 45 minutes but other than that this place was relaxing and had all the amenities and kitchen utensils in place to make a nice breakfast for the whole family.

Cozy House in the Country of Fort Myers

Our stay at ‘El Parche’ was a lovely one! We wanted to celebrate my husband graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University with our families in the safety of our own space to avoid Covid-19 exposure. It has plenty of space to enjoy and farm animals to see! Angie was so kind to ask us what the occasion was and she even provided us with some graduation decorations which was so sweet! She was very hospitable by checking in with me and asking if we needed anything. Should I go back to Fort Myers or the surrounding area, I would stay at ‘El Parche’ again!

Fun Farm Experience

This property was clean and enjoyable. My daughters had fun feeding the animals and playing with them. My teenage son and daughters enjoyed the motorized vehicles on the property, although my son really had his heart set on one that was not available at the time of our stay. He still wonders what it would have been like to ride it, as we cannot have anything like that where we live. The neighborhood was nice and quiet except for the occasional donkey holler, which was amusing. It was fairly secluded which was nice. The grocery and gas station were both about twenty minutes away. The beaches were about an hour away (with traffic). We came and went kind of a lot, so the bumpy gravel road got a little daunting, but it was okay. We brought our dogs, and they had a very good time in the fenced in yard. They were able to swim in the property's pond when they got too warm, and there was plenty of shade. The owners provided dog toys, which they enjoyed. We had a little bit of trouble at night not being able to let them in the house, as they are not crate trained. We set up blankets outside the bedroom window and kept it open a crack so we could talk to them if they started to whimper. After a night or two they got used to it for the most part. We were able to have a nice bonfire, cook out on the grill (although at the time of our stay there weren't utensils available that were suitable for grilling), listen to music on the big speaker outside, enjoy the night sounds on the lit porch at night, and watch the chickens and goats run around and play. The only thing I would say is watch your dogs around the goats. One of the goats wanted to head-butt one of our dogs in the worst way. Maybe a dominance thing? We felt the listing did not accurately list prices at the time of our rental, especially to bring the dogs, but the owner is aware now and hopefully can get it straightened out. Angie was very kind and personable, and her kids are adorable. All in all we had a great time. It was an experience we won't soon forget.

Another way to find Easter Eggs

What a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed being farmers for the weekend. What an amazing time with the animals, nature and just quiet away from technology. They do have internet and cable though but so much to do who has time for those things. What a clean home, the owners are a wonderful family. They really do go above and beyond.

Our stay on the farm

We had a very nice time on the farm was my wife and our adult children and a couple friends of theirs. The porch is great very comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The best part was being in nature with the goats, cows and chickens. Fresh eggs every day is a nice special treat. There is a couple things I would suggest. More towels would be nice, also a heads up on that the road leading in is a dirt road we felt like we were lost but all was good. The fire pit and having a gas grill is nice but it would be better if the property had wood and gas available. The owners are new to VRBO and they are well in their way to having a great location to get away from it all. Would stay again we had a great time.

Amazing

100/100 would recommend. The property was amazing and clean. I was in contact with the owner whenever i needed it. You get to pick your own eggs for breakfast! And you can’t be the land and the animals. Definitely booking here again.
