Summary:

Welcome to Sunset Serenity House- This 4 bedroom home boasts more than 2,000 square feet of air conditioned living space and ample outdoor living space that includes a heated pool, propane fire fit, and BBQ grill to boot! Located in the Wellington Lakes community, this home is located extremely close to The Health Park Medical Campus, Sanibel Island, and Fort Myers Beach. Pet friendly with king beds in 3 of the 4 bedrooms, multiple family/living areas, and an oversized gourmet kitchen with breakfast bar and island- This home is perfect for larger groups with furry friends!



The Space:

This home is situated across 4 bedrooms, laid out as follows:



Primary Bedroom: King bed with en-suite patio access and en-suite bathroom access to primary bathroom with soaking tub and walk in shower, featuring dual vanities.



Second Bedroom: King bed, shared second bath with walk in shower



Third Bedroom: King bed, shared second bath with walk in shower



Fourth Bedroom: Queen bed, shared second bath with walk in shower



This home features two living rooms, one in the front of the home with a more formal 6 top dining table and multiple armchairs and the second located in the back of the home with an oversized sectional sofa positioned in front of a large Smart TV. The kitchen features a breakfast bar and island, and is fully stocked. The pool area features a large heated and caged pool, propane fire fit with ample seating around it, and a BBQ grill. The home also features a two car garage that guests may access.



Guest Access:

Guests have access the entire property, pool area, and garage.



The Neighborhood:

This home is located in Wellington Lakes, situated in the Winkler Extension area of Fort Myers. Close to beaches and hospitals.

We recommend a rental car



Other Things to Note:

Guests must complete a rental agreement prior to checking in.

A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 will apply for reservations cancelled prior to the cancellation policy window. This fee covers our credit card processing fees on a refunded deposit payment.

The location was convenient for us - close enough to the bridge and restaurants but not so close we were stuck in endless traffic. The house was as advertised for the most part though we specifically asked about the hot tub vs. pool temperature and were told they were 102 and 86 degrees respectively. NOT TRUE. They are controlled by a single heater so they are the same temperature. We found the doors to the patio were not functional which was a major bummer as having those open (given the screened in pool area) would have been really nice (and was expected). Also, the pool lights do not work which was also a major bummer as we wanted to get in the pool after dark. We believe this was known but not communicated even though we repeated asked how to turn on the pool lights throughout our stay. The house and kitchen are well equipped (though no pizza cutter!). The internet (and tv since it is streaming) went out multiple times which was a significant problem. The TV on the patio is a great feature but seems to have an audio issue and was unbearable at times. We were guessing that was a slow internet issue but not certain. It would be nice to have lounge chairs options in the sun.

Communication with host could not have been better. They were very responsive by phone, text and email. We had a couple of small issues and an onsite person was there in less than 30 minutes, even on a Sunday evening. The king sized bed in the primary suite was very comfortable. The home was very clean when we arrived. The location was very convenient to shopping and golf courses.The patio could use a deep cleaning, including cleaning the chaise cushions. The grill tools were old/rusty and the grill would not light without a lighter. The family room could have used some table lamps or floor lamps - the only light was the overhead light on the ceiling fan, so the room was either too bright or it was dark. The faux wood window blinds were clunky and some could not be raised. Overall, it was a nice getaway and the few items listed above did not diminish our experience.

Large nice home

This is a beautiful house with plenty of space. We really enjoyed the pool, however we disappointed that the listed mentioned a “hot tub” but rather was just the same temperature as the pool with no way to heat to standard hot tub temperatures. The home seemed to be recently updated and had many nice finishes however the electrical work didn’t seem to be of great quality. One outlet was physically broken and another bathroom fan would sporadically work and then not work. The owner was very kind and offered to send a worker out to fix the outlet but it wasn’t something that needed immediate attention so we didn’t want it to happen during our stay.

Great location with nice pool

This house was perfect for a short golf trip with me and my 3 adult children as it had four bedrooms and a nice pool and hot tub. The location was close to restaurants, the beach and plenty of golf courses as well as spring training baseball.

Good Value

Interior very clean. Easy check in. Pool clean. (Pool deck needed to be weeded). Ample towels for shower and pool but only one dish towel and only three rolls of toilet paper. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it was very reasonable.
