I checked in Jan 10th and checked out Jan 12th. After check-out, I realized I left my phone behind. When I arrived home, which is about 3-hours away from Gallup, NM, I called Rodeway on Jan 13th. The front desk staff was very nice to inform me that my phone was located and was available at the front for pick-up. I informed the front desk staff that I would be there late, around 8 P. M., because I was working and couldn't drive to Gallup unitl after 5 P. M. The staff said phone would be there. I made my way and arrived and the staff, a drag queen, was already rude and told me there was no phone. The drag queen worked the evening shift. I told the staff to call the other staff and was told, I already called and she's not picking up. Without even contacting owner/manager, the drag queen was rude to me. I left, decided I would stay there and wait until 7 A. M. for the other staff to talk to. I returned to check and that drag queen was extremely rude checking me in. No customer service...nothing. Then the owner/manager walked out from the back office and I immediately approached him and explained what happened. He pointed to the phone and said it's right there. The drag queen picked up my phone from next to the computer monitor. My phone was sitting there all this time and was told it was no where to be found. I got my phone back, but I believe the drag queen was going to steal my phone should I have not returned. It was why I rated the customer service horrible.
