We came into Galway during severe rush hour traffic. I knew the hotel offered validation for a couple of parking garages but I didn’t yet know where they were, so I parallel parked right around the corner to unload our suitcases. The woman at reception told me “oh don’t park there, there are a bunch of hostels and homeless people and it’s very unsafe.” IT’S RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER FROM YOUR HOTEL!! The decor was very basic and bare bones compared to other hotels we’d stayed at around Ireland in the same price range. On the plus side, we didn’t have to pay for parking at all, unusual for a hotel in a major city.

the room was so noisy both from the street noise and other rooms, building around it, that is was almost impossible to sleep. I would not book there again, especially for the cost.

Lovely hotel very friendly staff right in the centre of galway city . Unfortunately our room was very small and heat was something else also the elevator is extremely annoying as there is only 1 in the whole hotel and when trying to checknout the lift kept bring us up and down multiple times and not opening on the ground floor to let anyone out .

Tight but nice

This hotel is perfectly located a block from the train station and a short walk to the main shopping area. We did stay during an unusually hot time and they do not have air conditioning. However, the front desk did whatever they could to try to make us feel comfortable (provided two fans). We stayed in the room with a queen and one twin bed (3 adults) and there wasn’t a lot of wiggle room but did the job!

Perfect

Our visit was wonderful The staff was terrific and helpful. Our two rooms were grand. The location is especially well suited for getting from the train station or bus made sightseeing easy. It is near Eyre Square, across from eateries, and a nifty (short) stroll from everything. It is a perfect spot to stay in Galway. We wouldn’t book any other hotel !!!!

Lovely little hotel perfectly located next to the square. Room was clean, comfortable and being able to open the window was nice for some fresh air. Food in the bar was good, breakfast was perfect as well! Parking was at a public garage right around the corner when we left they validated the ticket for a discounted price at the garage upon leaving. Staff was very friendly accommodating. Would definitely stay next I'm in Galway.

Would stay again

Front desk girl was the most pleasent girl we had met up to this point of our trip. She was very informative! Room was clean and quiet. It was right next to the train and bus station- so very convient. Self serve laundry is about a 10 minute walk. Great location.
