Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A nice place to stay. A few notes for improvement: as it had snowed prior to our visit, there were some roads that were impassible without 4WD/AWD. We had to help some folks who were stuck (front wheel drive VAN no enough traction). It would be prudent to not just recommend a route for traffic purposes, but specify mandatory vehicle requirements and best route for snow.The unit as well is best heated by only using the lower heating unit; close the mid floor vents and turn off the upstairs heat. Everything goes up from the lower floor. Otherwise, the bottom floor is freezing and the top is baking.

The game room, theater room, sauna and hot tub added to the ideal location for a Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge vacation. The three bedroom cabin allowed our group of 7 plenty of room for the boys on the bottom floor, the girls upstairs and the chaperones on the main floor.

We went to Dollywood, dinner shows, white water rafting, played in mountain streams, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Smokies. The theater room was awesome & wish we had more time to just enjoy that. Check in/out couldn’t have been any simpler. We’ll rent from Elk Springs when we come back.
